I'e been using my HP 15C (NOT a Collectors Edition) almost daily for over forty years - still on the original set of batteries-- incredible machine!
Nice! Still have my HP-16C bought at Macy's downtown San Francisco in '82 or '83.
I miss the days everything came with a proper printed manual.

May I ask, are you experiencing any of the key unwanted double pressing ?
I have not experienced any bounce issues. I think there is a new firmware, but I have not tried it.
