Great stuff! Had to laugh a bit that the 'super minimalist setting' at 9:43 didn't turn off the super annoying Web Browser popup things: Tools > Web Browsers and Preview > Show browser popup > Uncheck 😀
Thank you so much Jeffrey, this man is really good at teaching & he learnt everything in a right way & he taught everything in an appropriate and in a very simple way which is really easy to comprehend even by a rookie.
Thank you Jeffrey Way for this wonderful video. We are praying to do a series on vscode configuration as well. I recognise that there is already an existing playlist on the Laracast site but a new one will be a good thing.
Hi Jeffrey, Thanks for this course. Love your teaching style. I'm encountering a different outcome for the pint formatting (Must have different rules in the newest version?). The empty curly brackets stays on the same line as the function declaration. However, it does format like in your video if I disable pint and re-enables the PHP reformat code.
I love how creating a model gives you the other files. Is there a planned update to include livewire classes and views? as it is, it works well with Laravel API. Also instead of adding fillabel on models we can instead add guarded? With guarded its less fields to add, around 1 or 2. ucwords capitalises each first letter of the word in a string.
This is a an awesome video. Unfortunately I can't afford PHP Storm and the plugins. Codeholic did do a video for setting up vscode for Laravel, that's been extremely helpful
If you can gather a student email I’d from any university student, then you can get the paid version absolutely free. I am been using one since last 6 months.
Great video however I'd like a tutorial of VS Code (which I think mpst of us work with) since PHPStorm for my 6gb of Ram is too much and you it's not a free tool
We are starting with e2e testing with playwright and phpstorm doesn't have extension for playwright but vscode does. We are using phpstorm as our primary editor so we are little bit sad 😢
Shut up neovim is for junior script kiddies and your 100 line project. If you really care about coding & doing stuff then use a real "IDE" like PhpStorm and vim motions. they exists for a reason and its 2024 nobody should suffer the cringy, buggy nvim
Yes you have to pay but it is worth it. I used it in the last years and I wont go back to vscode or others editors. I still use vscode for quick changes of single files if I have to, but for anything else i use phpstorm, everything is there and I dont have to sweat to find simple stuff.

beautiful intro
Mr Jeffery, your teaching style is impeccable. I will appreciate it if you can make a js tutorial. Thanks

I'm willing to help
So is it more productive than Vscode?
Hi Jeffrey,
Always loved your tutorials. ❤
One quick query. What is the configuration of MacBook Pro/Air are you using?
Thanks
Great. One VSCode related would be great as well for people who cannot afford PHPStorm or just don't like it.
What an intro 🔥
cool

is there any discount ??
Student email abusers raise hand ✋️
Jefery spends the first ten minutes preparing to pass PHPStorm off as Neovim. 😆

Php storm is just way to expensive
It’s aimed at professionals and if you aren’t earning enough to afford $99 a year (with the fee going down each year) you aren’t a professional.
