I would’ve built a two pole electric motor around the shaft, sealed it and its connections and used a 12vdc battery with a 1200 watt inverter to spin the turbine at 3600rpms.
You will need some type of forward facing scoop on the bottom intake, or once you start moving forward the bottom pipe facing down will cause drag and cavitation in the water making it pump air and not efficient.

Untuk,kegunaan perahu air masuk mesti disedut dari depan 45 darjah bukan dari bawah 90 darjah..jika tidak perahu akan tertarik ke bawah dan jet tidak ada kuasa lebih untuk menolak perahu kenhadapan..
Masuk akal jg hrsx sudut 45 derajad hisapanx menarik boot ke bawah dan pengaruhi laju.. Power mesin kecil ujung jet hrs lebih kecl lontarannya biar makyos

Put you motor on s boat an let see how fast you can go. Don't forget to put chicken wire in your intake water. To stop sticks, logs and every now and then a fish from getting sucked up into your intake and diced up fishbait/chumming the water.
