I’m a rider that is always hard-charging runs and trees, but also love park but almost always only jibbing, not big jumps. Can’t decide between these two, help 😅
Hello! I had for 4 years the Capita DOA and switched to a Bataleon Goliath, which I find less playful. I was thinking of going back to the Capita DOA for the next season but now that I see the SuperDoa I'm curious, is it very different from the Goliath? I think they seem to be just as stable but the SuperDoa delivers a friendlier flex.
HI!!! great videos guys! loved it! quick question, what size would you guys recommend for 6'1-6'2, around 90kg, boot size 11.5 for the SUPER DOA would be great if i can have a suggestion, thx a lot!!! keep up the good vids man!
Hey there! Alex here, snowboard expert @ Curated.com ( www.curated.com/experts/alex.v ) - to answer your question - I would definitely recommend the 161W (wide) based on your body build! Hmu on my profile if you want to chat!
Hello! Thanks for your reviews! I’m an upper intermediate rider and I’m contemplating on getting the Super DOA. My reservations have to do with: a) the very fast base and b) might be too catchy-hooky? What’s your view?
Hey George! If you're looking for something super poppy and fast - the Capita Super D.O.A is it. If you want something capable but less aggressive - there are definitely some other models like the Capita Outsiders I could point your way that are also a ton of fun - Reach out to me when you get the chance, I'm usually pretty quick to respond! (we have a huge Black Friday sale on right now) - Alex 🤙 www.curated.com/e/alex.weber
Hey meltedsnow01! I'd highly suggest the 158W for your build! Hit me up on my profile to land on this one before it sells out and I'll get you a great deal! 🤙 www.curated.com/experts/alex.weber - Alex
Hey there! Alex here, snowboard expert @ Curated.com ( www.curated.com/experts/alex.v ) - to answer your question - I wouldn't recommend the Super DOA as a beginner board due to its super fast base and upper mid-stiff flex. It's going to be too aggressive and make it hard to learn on. Hmu on my profile if you want to chat!
I wouldn't even recommend the doa as a beginner board as well to be honest, I just learned how to use the doa this year in my second year of riding, and the doa is amazing. Honestly though the orca got me a lot better my first season being able to charge through anything, powder, very icy with the magna traction. Even though the orca is not classed as a beginner board I would recommend it personally you can skid those turns on the orca so easily... but I enjoy riding my DOA better then my orca now in resort conditions!
good video, horrible boards to compare with pretty obvious answers. you guys should compare boards from different brands with similarities like flex, shape etc

@@SpartanDuck 159W ( more playful) or 161W (tini bit more stiff and stable). Important is that you take a *W* ide Board.
Mega Merc vs Mercury from Capita please
I’m 6’2, 180. What size for SDOA?
Kyle, it's a little more involved than just height and weight. Be glad to help you narrow it down HMU 🤙Eric www.curated.com/e/eric.willmann
Does it make sense to buy Super DOA as your first learning board?
Nope, 0 sense, but I just did because I got a good deal on a 2021 version :P
