I can honestly say in all the lawn care videos I’ve watched that this nature strip was over the top! Heaven help you doing the rest of the place, you’ll need to eat your Wheaties lol!
That was a place that I could have no idea what it is supposed to look like. Thanks for all your hard and persistent work. Progress for the owner and a kindness to the neighborhood. That was a lot of volume, switching off between tools and procedure after procedure to get to where you had a finished look.
Does your budget allow for an edger? It would save you a lot of time and give clean edges. I would have trimmed all those sucker branches at the bottom of that tree.
This strip alone was a very big job. You put a lot of time and effort into improving it. Considering the condition it was in, no onw should expect perfection for free. Eccellent work!
Wow. That grass was so deep and thick. Incredible job clearing it up and kudos to you for taking on the entire job. They sound like really sweet people. Maybe the dead car can be taken away too. I bet their home was so pretty at one point. 😊😊😊

Why don’t you prop up the side discharge in tall grass like that
It’s too dangerous to have the side discharge open on a small block, there’s too many cars windows that the discharge could damage.
