As I saw this the first time, I tought "What's going on with Misha?". But Now, after seeing 15x18, what they shoot that night (and the plain story)... How could he even stand there? I'm just crying...
Now we know, the last scene that was filmed before the cast coming to this panel, was the goodbye scene between Cas and Dean in 15x18... I just can't anymore I'm sobbing..
It was interesting that Misha mentioned that it doesnt feel like hes acting when playing Cas as after watching episode 18 those tears felt real. From both of them. And im pretty sure they were.
Misha is one of the kindest, most thoughtful human beings on the planet. His heart is just so big and I can't even imagine how exhausted he, Jensen, Alex and Rich must have been after the ordeal with their flight and yet he and all of them soldiered on through an entire weekend of con stuff. I wish I could put a big hug in a box and send it to Misha - he deserves one.
@@dajtoad1 Jensen, Misha, Alex and Richard were all on Jared's private plane (he has one of those, apparently!) and one of the 4 engines exploded, so they had to turn back around to Vancouver. Misha said they were all *pretty* sure they were going to be okay but were all texting their loved ones just to be on the safe side. Misha said Jensen was cool as a cucumber and reassuring everyone that the pilots could get them back safely to the airport - which they did - but after they were all safely on the ground, Misha said, Jensen told him "I'm never flying again." I'm pretty sure he was mostly joking, though, as somebody posted a photo of him on a private plane with Rich and some other folks headed back up to Vancouver. I think Misha was *really* shaken up by the whole thing - someone on Tumblr said that at the end of the day on Sunday, Misha came by Jensen's table and gave him, like, three or four hugs (the person said Jensen lit up when he realized Misha was there) - the two of them apparently had a short, but pretty serious conversation before Misha left. Scary, scary, scary stuff. They'd basically been awake, by that point, for about 48 hours at least, by then - since they'd worked a full 14-16 hour day, then went to get on the plane to head down to Vegas and the engine issue happened, plus then had to go on and do all their regularly scheduled con stuff with NO SLEEP.
Ruby Dynamite nightmare. They all seemed a bit shaken up. Misha said something about feeling closer to them all than ever because of recent events, but I didn’t know what he was talking about. And I can’t believe Jared has his own plane! I know they commute back and forth a lot, but that’s still pretty extravagant!
I know some people are bummed about him focusing on his lasts in the show but I see it it more as he’s trying to be present in the moment to enjoy and remember these things he’s done for so many years and just feel how great a time he’s had. So it’s a positive, a way of focusing on his experience which while bittersweet has been life changing for him as a person.
Our beautiful angel! Our innocent, pure and incredibly kind Cass. He deserved better than the writers gave him. Our wonderful, funny, passionate, kind and absolutely talented Misha deserved better. I love you Misha. While the writers let us down in ways I cannot even begin to understand, process or explain, Castile didn't let us down; Misha didn't let us down and I think I speak for the entire SPN family, that we'll always love Cass and always support, cheer and adore Misha. I love this man. This was right after filming 15x18, which I spoiled myself on. SPOILER: (but not really) super emotional, especially for him, one of the most emotional scenes in spn for me. Then they had that near death moment with the plane. He was so exhausted and emotionally wrecked and he was still cracking jokes and being amazing.
What an impossibly difficult 24 hours (less?) for Misha Collins. The parceling up of over a decade of his life into history, the coworker and personal goodbyes, that uncomfortable weird time of COVID looming, then putting himself in the emotional wringer to figure out the balance in that final scene (I wonder how many takes they did). As if that wasn't enough then the mortal fear flight incident. Eeeks... 10 minutes out of YVR is over mountains. Big ones. Or Ocean. Heavy, heavy stuff. I cannot imagine the strain he was feeling. What a privilege for those there to 1) still have had that session and 2) experience his sharing of that raw emotion. And kudos to MC. He may have felt a wreck, but the strength of character to walk and be slightly fragile.. impressive. I can say that within a week the universe in and around Vancouver was shutting down - I flew through YVR on March 12th, and the tension was palpable.
Omg can't believe this interview happened after third last episode because I'm watching after I watched the episode. His character's death was so heartbreaking and overwhelming. I mean I'm still trying to not cry especially when he said that they also mourn their character's death because it's a part of them and ours too because it hurts us too and when he said about having some moment without realising that it's gonna be the last time we're having it. Love you Misha and cass, I hope you will be in last episode, it's very must for you to be in last episode otherwise there's always gonna be a hole😢😢
Yeah misha held his composure to do tis convention especially after doing an emotional scene where he is saying good bye to his character for 11 yrs n a near death experience on the plane to that convention.
Misha impressed me with this convention of his. He was definitely emotional and extremely tired for a reason. 1st after having to do an extremely emotional scene and obviously saying good bye to his character of 11 years must hv been so hard to do so. 2nd a near death plane crash. His composure was just wow!
I am so grateful for you for uploading this, you probably know how much this means to the other fans who can't go and attend and see them irl thank you 💕
I have honestly never seen an episode of Supernatural, but I have watched all of the conventions and all of the out takes, even I think its strange that the producers would tell Misha he needs to go and do a convention the day after the single most emotional moment of his professional career had happened.
Thanks for sharing this! It was my best friend's and my first con and we were luckily enough to be picked. So amazing to have this memorialized. Thanks for helping us capture the memories! He was so sweet/kind!
@misha and the entire spn fandom: don't think of moments as "the potential last time." that is not a good vibe. enjoy the moment for what it is. the glass is half full, not half empty 💖
He has often told the thing about "lasts", I always think noooo, better see all the "firsts", that would be much more looking forward and less depressing
Realizing that something is the last time is a good way to stay in the moment and enjoy things and treasure them as they happen. You always hear parents lamenting they take things for granted, but for every kid there is a last time to bottle feed them, last time they hold your hand to walk into school etc. there is nothing wrong with hanging on to those moments. To you, it is a show. To them it is years of their lives and relationships they've built with tons of people etc....
Misha you are a excellent person, thank you for being a part of my daily life and your style is excellent very cool. Look forward to see you on TV or on the screen in the future you have the talent. Thank you stay safe.

That quote about Elizabeth Warren! Omigod. She's already acting like the president I wish we had. All of her debates, tv appearances, everything....I'm still so upset that she's not going to be our winner of 2020. Thank you Misha! And he was right and I understand his position now in choosing who he did on Super Tuesday, because obviously Biden ended up leading on Super Tuesday. Sorry for the political comment here, but every time I see something new about Bernie or Biden or Warren, even after Warren pulled out....I get so depressed and sad. There is no competition in my mind. It was Elizabeth. Period. She was supposed to be the winner. Again sorry to put this here, but I'm just...I'm just...Omigod.
Oh my God, just realized something... SPOILERS here for the latest episode 15x18! But here it is: They were flying back from finishing the episode, one of their four engines exploded on their plane... team free will has four people, Sam, Dean, Cas, and Jack... Jared, Jensen, Misha, and Alex... in 15x18 they killed off Cas... Misha wouldn’t play Cas anymore, so the cast is down to 3... and one engine exploded, making just three engines work... that’s just... omg! Show runners usually notice stuff like this, plus Misha went back to filming after their covid break, so I strongly think after that engine explosion right after they killed off Cas, they thought “Oh my gosh, team free will is down to three, and the engines were down to three, that’s a bad sign” and they rewrote it to bring Cas back! Eep I hope so!
Getting into Vancouver from the US in August 2020 when all the shows tried to restart would have been a two-week commitment to quarantine. I'd be very surprised if MC went back.
