great loadout there is so much that people carry that they'll never use so its just weighing them down
Good choices. So many hikers take WAY too much stuff that is simply not necessary. I am a cycle camper but my kit is the same as I’d carry if I was walking and I keep it below 6kg. The load I take for a couple of days would do just as well for me if I was on the road for a couple of months.

I'm not bashing you dude but I cannot believe how little you carry? I trimmed down my kit the other night it now weighs in at 18Kg
How long do you go out for?
It’s been a while dialling this in to be fair and a lot of research along the way. Usually for 2-5 days depending on what I’m doing but as long as I have a food resupply, this can pretty much last indefinitely. I’ve got a few videos on easy and cheap ways to lighten your load if you want to know more 🙂

I just couldn't go hiking without whiskey or cigars, or a metal water bottle, or a decent knife, even my back up blade is a Swiss army knife bigger then your one, wool socks, big boots, med kit, fero rod, food lots & lots of food!!

No dramas mate, good to hear. Hate it when I get back from a trip and haven’t used a few items. Enjoying myself much more by just not bringing them✌🏻
