I assume this is Raymer Well Drilling out of the Grand Rapids area? My dad was a well driller down there and always talked highly of them. They both bid on the wells for the cities around that area and also put in wells at the paper mills in Kalamazoo. Great to see you guys are still drilling!
Does the air go down the hole through the tube inside the drill pipe, and cutting return to the surface through the annulus between the drillpipe and its inner tube?
fanliming671 Yes but it's called reverse circulation with air assistance,air is not necessary if depth is less than 500 ft or if the diameter of the hole is 12 inches and smaller, they only use air to help ease up the lifting piling for faster penetration in the clay ground and high water table
