@Angular i mean the whole tree shouldn't be checked. Just should update the changed value in view. That's how i believe signals work in solidjs. asynchronously, each signal should update the view independently. So, that current change detection mechanism may never be needed
Component is the basic building block for UIs in Angular, modules are the way that devs can organize their components, dependencies and more! Moving forward, Angular has a new pattern for apps called Standalone APIs means you don't need to include modules. Check this out - angular.io/guide/standalone-components

Great work! Amazing to see so many valuable features released in a single major version!
Thank you for noticing!
I'm really happy. Congratulations
Angular, my favorite JS framework that doesn't get the respect it deserves.
Impressive update. Glad I stuck with Angular.
Really excited about these changes! Looking forward to seeing what the future brings for hydration in Angular in v17

Angular is looking better and better every release.
As always 🔥
Thank you Mark great presentation
Really great stuff!

So great, thank you!
Awesome!!!
🚀🚀🚀
🤝
Wow 🎉
Why do we need a required flag for @Inputs? we can just add "[inputName]" to the component selector?
Live to know them....
How can I get one of those sick, slick, awesome red bottles?
The best ever!
I predict you will change Input decorator required by default and make a flag for optional ones :)
These JS front-end frameworks just keep getting more and more complex.
TS
Where can I buy that cool Angular-Shirt? =)
I would really love if you guys put some more effort into your documentation ... it is next to minimal.
We're working on it actually :) Stay tuned 👀
1:28 C'mon... Don't lie. You've just ported this from other frameworks that have used it for years.
Hope signals won't trigger change detection
The idea is for Signals to drive change detection in your app and give you more control over when change detection runs.
@Angular i mean the whole tree shouldn't be checked. Just should update the changed value in view. That's how i believe signals work in solidjs. asynchronously, each signal should update the view independently. So, that current change detection mechanism may never be needed
Mark we simply don’t deserve you 😞
What is an Angular stand alone app?
Angular app without ngModules
Module vs component
