I still think I'd prefer the Quest 3 because it both has that pass through system with hand tracking to basically give you the Vision pro Lite AND it can be used for VR gaming when you want to do that. It does both things. It's the VR headset im considering buying because Idk how often I'd use VR, or if I will even end up liking it, but unlike other VR headsets which will gather dust when not in use, I could still use it for spatial computing.
This would be interesting to try when gaming off the PC and using this as the display. Focusing wise and making it an experience vs just looking at a screen but only 60hz? Not bad for general but normally 120hz is easier for 1080p but for 2k or 1440p. Understandable that it's not 120 but also disappointing sorta, for how much you're paying
I'm not getting any sound with my goovis earbuds. I plugged the white thing into the top, and they seemed to pair, but I get no sound. Am I meant to plug something into the little white thing?
I wish there was a version with a 4k mini led display with 1,000 nits for the goovis smart glasses. I have the sony xperia 1 iv android phone with it's 4k 120 hz oled display since I love the 21:9 aspect ratio and 4k resolution minus the burn in from the oled display. With every oled display that I use already have burn in issues and the white colors turned yellow like a clear cell phone case. I want to have a pair of smart glasses that has a 4k display like my sony xperia phone. There is the pi max portal handheld gaming device with controllers that are detachelable like the nintendo switch that runs android with a 4k 144 hz qled mini led display and 4k 144 hz lcd option and an optional vr headset and amd external gpu. The pi max portal needs a usb c adapter for using wired headphones. Bluetooth audio is lackluster and pair that with 4k, it's high latency fest.
Spoiler alert Blue Ray WILL NOT work on a Goovis headset. At least in my experience with another product of theirs that supposedly does which it does not. I've tried on 4 separate Blue Ray players to play a 2D movie and I get NO signal via HDMi using their Adaptor, Goovis sent me a second Adaptor and still no cigar. Very disappointing as it's a main reason I purchased the headset for in the first place to watch my Blue Ray Disc collection whilst laying in bed. BTW.... Goovis do NOT show ANY disc content playing in ANY of their headsets so why do they tell lies ???
Again: Hey there! I want to thank you for your great videos. Please, could you answer me a quick question: Would you recommend the Goovis G3X for home office?
ThanksMuch for posting !
Thanks for sharing. Blessings on your day!

Having movie screen on your face that doesn't cost $4,000 sounds pretty good
The AVP isn't in the same category, so this comment isn't relevant at all.
Edited to add... Some people treat the AVP as a media device

Absolutely, screen is huge and extremely clear
@@OfficialGamesky Thanks a bunch for the answer. Do you think that it is light on the eyes, i.e. you can use it for hours without suffering?
would you need need the android tv box accessory to access the apps?
Yes
Just get a Meta Quest 3. Does all this and so much more for the same money.
