18:16 - 19:22 oh wow. As someone who live in this area of North Jersey I guess I actually take this view of the NYC skyline for granted. Cool to hear how excited you were to see this for what I'm guessing was your first time. Lots of fun things to do in NYC, but also a ton of stuff to do in Hoboken/Jersey City
As someone who gets to see the skyline everyday, I never realized how much I take advantage of it. This video makes me realize how much it truly means when someone looks at it for the first time.
I’m a New Yorker myself and a fan of your channel! Great video. And yeah, New York City has over 5,000 high rise structures and a metro population of over 20 million
The Pulaski Skyway is the first skyway bridge built in America (1932). They did a bunch of maintenance on it very recently which took about 5/6 years. Before the maintenance, it was much scarier to drive on lol. The lanes were much more narrow with cars flying driving very close to each other. It’s great to drive north (same direction you drove) at night because that skyline is insane. Also, those two towers you asked about are condos in Journal Square (shopping area with Path station to NYC) in Jersey City NJ. Once you crossed that bridge, you were in Jersey City, NJ. Also a great place to visit, especially downtown.
Thanks for sharing, I've visited NYC from D.C. several times and driven this exact highway but never recorded it.... it's really cool to encounter the skyline all of a sudden.
Those bridges could use a new paint work and maybe paint it to match Lady Liberty 🗽. I use to live near the Airport in Nashville and I could sit in the pool area and watch the planes fly over my apartment complex.
Idk how u we’re terrified. They remodeled the bridge very recently and widened the lanes, before that it was narrow and deteriorated the pulaski skyway was on life support back then
Just did this drive from Jersey (Brooklyn NYC Born and Raised) to Florida BRTUAL and Boring. Watch those so called "Rest Stops" you get off and your in dark good and not so good neighborhoods not rest stops at all like Jersey and Maryland your in actual neighborhoods so be careful.
idk why this popped up on my recommendations.. but hoped you enjoyed NYC. you drove thru my next of the woods... where did you come from? PS: Noticed you caught a plane landing runaway 29 newark aiport.. that is super rare. you should cut that and upload on separate video. lol
@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS you also took that left turn at the end lol. Instead of going straight into the Holland tunnel. Gps took you thru the Pulaski instead of turnpike extension. Suck. Cause taking the turnpike extension you can see the statue of liberty. Next time you do, pulled over at Liberty State Park.. beautiful place for NYC pics... And if you want night time nyc skyline go to boulevard east in weehawken, nj. Lol.

Also enjoy all the Dairy Farms in Salem County and Cumberland County. People are not aware of the vast amount of farms in New Jersey.

It's amazing how clean the turnpike looks back in the day driving on this highway there was smoke stacks fires smog the smell to

That scream in 11:50 💀💀
Maybe because there's a plane landing over I 95
You are getting it done bro..as far north as I have been in my life is ohio...lol..missing Florida yet???
11:50 plane outta nowhere
Aka the New Jersey Turnpike
thats why i like Big citys beacues if youer city or county has more land you can build a lot thyer
it depends more on the density, there isnt much land in the NYC area at all, so its the opposite.
I-95 sucks even worse in NJ than SoFlo!
Slow traffic drive in right lane not in middle
