Paying 150 mil is literally nothing to them.

  • @DarthWaffle.

Bank of America board meeting: we made 4 billion scamming customers and need to pay 250 million in fines. Job well done fellas, let’s all give ourselves raises.

  • @Thomas4721h

Yet no one ever goes to prison from these banks.

  • @gringoboy701

Must be nice to break the law and only have to pay a fine in the 1% of times you are caught.

  • @darrylnelson05

If corporations are people too, then some people should be going to prison.

  • @Sharon-mn6fb

Considering they got bailed out in 2009 they should pay customers with interest.....

This is so sad. Those executives get to do nefarious acts, keep their jobs, and make hefty bonuses!

  • @bingbong9076

Thats probably less than they made from the illegal activity. Theyll just do it again and pay the fine, system is broken and working just as intended.

  • @DarthWaffle.

In Japan, CEO’s go to jail if they break the law.

  • @exboyfriend8247

Thieves with suits and ties and yet nobody goes to prison what a nasty joke this society has become. .....💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀

Shouldn’t what’s left after paying the government’s attorneys go to the ones that were affected, not the government?

  • @GXPedition460

They charged me over $1300 for overdraft fees over the weekend back in 2003. Because iTunes charged me $1 per song download while BofA charged $35 per song. Funny thing was that I deposited a check that friday before 5pm which they said that didn’t initialized till next Monday even though I had the receipt from their ATM machine. They are bunch of crooks.

I've been with them for 50 years. So I'm definitely gonna get my .47 cents of the law suit.

  • @JamesNY718

They profited billions and only required to pay $100M to customers and $150M fine? Banks will take that deal every time.

  • @Phlegethon

Shouldn’t Bank of America pay this back with interest

  • @GrandChessboard

150 million fees? How much did they steal from their customers? 1.5 billion? Got out of big banks 15 years ago and been happy ever since...

  • @777educated

    Shame on Bank of America!!!

  • @corpsman827

I remember when this same thing happened back in the late 2000's and had to pay out millions. How do they keep doing the same thing and getting away with it?

  • @karlad4082

I left Bank of America in my early 20s and started banking with a Credit Union. I’m now in my late 40s, and I have never looked back. 😊👍

As a former employee many many years ago. I can confirm this is 100% true. They would fee their own employees who didnt even want an account but felt obligated to open one. By not using the account would charge a fee which made the account go negative bc i didnt use the account and charge another fee bc it went negative. Then another fee if it stayed negative for more than 7 days. I had so many fees for an account i did not want. I was using another bank at the time. They are trash to their customers and employees.
