    Cpl huge bloopers in this movie.
    1. In the part of the movie, when the native Americans are being brought into the army post ( winter scene ) and they are crossing a frozen river, a woman rider is wearing dark sunglasses.
    2. Same time frame. When riders are nearing the fort off to the right in the distance, a black car is racing away

    Your HD-DVD of the Searchers was still playable? Mine rotted years ago.

      Yes it is, surprisingly. I mean, I only watched the first 10 minutes of the HD-DVD to compare to the new transfer, so it could have had issues later in the disc I didn't reach on this viewing.

    The dukes character was also extremely racist. A dark role. GREAT MOVIE.
    FYI. Buddy Holly wrote the song. " That'll be the day " from Ethan's catch phrase " that'll be the day " used in this movie.
