What Makes GEORGE TOWN So Special? Exploring Penang’s Street Art! 🇲🇾

DESCRIPTION:
George Town, Penang is the art capital of Malaysia, and after our day of exploring, we can totally see why! 🎨 From hidden murals to massive masterpieces, we followed the famous street art trail and lost count of how many incredible pieces we discovered.
Of course, we had to stay fuelled along the way, and we found a delicious spot serving bamboo noodles and some of the best kaya buns we’ve had in Malaysia 🥢 But our biggest surprise came at the very end, after reaching the Brother & Sister on Swing mural, we stumbled into a vegan café called Susu, where we had a great chat with (we assume) the owner. He introduced us to Kenji Chai aka Chaigo, one of Malaysia’s most famous street artists.
The combination of stunning murals, amazing food, and friendly locals made this an unforgettable experience. A small but much-loved day in Penang that we’ll never forget!
