I had an idea where Korra’s successor would be studying his past lives because he can’t talk to them. It would be it’s own show where we learn the backstory of each avatar.
The first book will be Fire = Avatar Wan And the last will be Air = Aang Not Water because Korra is connected to the new Earth Avatar And well he/she *IS* the *EARTH* avatar... a Nomad Avatar. I'd watch that.

All avatars have the same spirit/soul just a different body, mind, experiences, and upbringing which is what makes a person’s personality causing them to seem different. New writers could probably fix this. Maybe the next avatar (or korra) is faced with a greater challenge, even more than the fire lord, or any villain in avatar, and they need the power of not just one, but all the avatars. They journey through the spirit world barely making it to a destination to where they learn how to bring back the cycle. Then, they travel the world and learn how to use every element weakly, and when they finally reconnect with all the avatars, they will have every avatars power.
What if they can reconnect but in a different way, I have 2 theories on how they could reconnect: 1.She reconnect to the humans behind the avatar rather than Raava, like they didn't destroy Korra's spirit, they destroyed Raava. For example Wan had a spirit even before merging with Raava so she could connect to that. 2. Maybe a way that's possible to reconnect is tremendously dangerous (This is my idea obviously probably incorrect) but what if the avatar has to suffer all the pain of all their past lives in order to reconnect since pain is what forms character and changes people(for good or worse), but so much pain felt can also corrupt,if its impossible to bear

Technically Aang was channelising energy through Korra since Avatars pass on their skills and knowledge during Avatar State. So any Avatar would have lost against Vaatu and Unalaq. So just saying Aang couldn't have won either. But that's okay giving up AvatarSpirit and harmonic convergence brought back the Air Nation which was Aang's biggest dream. So I am okay with it. It wasn't someone else's pain, only and Only Koreas pain that she couldn't connect to Avatar State but she would have done it again if this brings back a whole nation from extinction.
I know it's painful watching 625 Avatars spirits go away. But think it like a reboot where things start back again with just an Avatar+ Raava and 4 full nations (not 3) just like the start. Makes sense but because one cannot be there without the other the air benders would have eventually come back because all cycles have a balance and air was apart of that balance. It just happens that after Korra rest the Avatar cycle she forced a new balance and air benders came back as a result.

Technically Aang was channelising energy through Korra since Avatars pass on their skills and knowledge during Avatar State. So any Avatar would have lost against Vaatu and Unalaq. So just saying Aang couldn't have won either. But that's okay giving up AvatarSpirit and harmonic convergence brought back the Air Nation which was Aang's biggest dream. So I am okay with it. It wasn't someone else's pain, only and Only Koreas pain that she couldn't connect to Avatar State but she would have done it again if this brings back a whole nation from extinction.
I know it's painful watching 625 Avatars spirits go away. But think it like a reboot where things start back again with just an Avatar+ Raava and 4 full nations (not 3) just like the start. Writers took a really hard decision to make her interesting. For me Korra is exactly like Kyoshi, stubborn and powerful. Idc if you agree or not

I think the cycle should be restarted since the avatar needs to evolved since everyone in avatar universe already knew their powers and abilities, strength and weaknesses also I think Korra should work hard creating a new state so the future avatars will be evolved as well.

Makes sense but because one cannot be there without the other the air benders would have eventually come back because all cycles have a balance and air was apart of that balance. It just happens that after Korra rest the Avatar cycle she forced a new balance and air benders came back as a result.
