Beautiful playing. John, i have to tell you that your channel nakes a difference. I am a 65 6ear old life king pro guitarist song writer, etc, and i have lymphoma, takung radiation treatments. I connect so much with your playing that it seens ive got to hear it daily, and it is very healing. You should know . Much love from Texas
Please consult the Bollingers from The Truth about Cancer, and discontinue your radiation, if you want to heal, and the best of luck in your continued musical progress. I'm 71 , and luckily have avoided the heavy hand of the greedy medical mafia so far in my country, and am doing fine, despite being told I have COPD and heart damage. My prayers are with you.
I bought a JS-300 Gold just two weeks ago. My first guitar from Jet. The neck and fretwork are absolutely a-ma-zing! The paint job is 99.9% and it's a looker alright. The pickups are only okay, but the tuners are very, very smooth. It came gig ready. I changed strings and went on my merry way. Boy, was that 219 euros well spent!
I have three of the lower budget Jets, I love them...I actually emailed them one night with a few beers in me to recommend a colour for their strats...they actually got back to me, which was nice...and if they at some point release a strat model in graffiti yellow with a rosewood fretboard a la Jeff Beck's early 80's strat before the surf green strats...that was me!, lol...x
Got a JS 400 lefty . The roasted maple neck an access to upper frets is amazing . Just install a Dimarzio Super Distortion at the bridge and this Jet became a tone beast . Total price with upgrade $350 USD; shipping included .
I bought a JS600 model a few months ago. The fingerboard is Mixed Ebony, which I think is made of synthetic material, and after a few days, it completely cracked from the first to the fifth fret. 😐
You could probably play a piece of string nailed to a wooden plank and make it sound like you John! Marvellous playing - I'm pleasantly surprised at how good the Jet guitar sounds.
Mate, jet guitar is the perfect platform for your mod. My Js300 has smooth neck, light weight, well balanced. I just need to upgrade the electronic with your preffered loaded pickguards and better jack input. You ended with a great sounding and playing guitar. Only for someone who feeling secure enough not to care about what other people think about you playing with relatively "unknown" brand though.
John, as we approach 2025, I wanted to give you some advice that I think will help all of your viewers. How about *always* including what HX Stomp preset (if you are using the Stomp) you are using in your video description? I think it would help you sell more of your presets. P.S. I recently bought your HX Stomp pack, and really enjoy it, but find myself wanting when I see a video like this when you have such a wonderful tone, and then wondering, "What preset is he using?" I just think it would be a better way of marketing yourself and your packs. All the best, John, and enjoy what you do.
Nice guitars the only reason why I just returned a JS-450 black friday deal was becuase of the weight but that might have been cos the trem block is rather large very promising thou!
So I will tell you this, between you and Mr Tim, who's playing is beautiful but it's just too fast for me to make it out, although I'm not a person who cares about the price of a guitar only that it is made well. I thank God that I do not have the senses that I cannot enjoy a fantastic guitar because in the back of my mind it was only $500. The whole price performance racial thing punching above their weight.. I kind of like the way Phill McKnight looks at it. Too many people have failed the blindfold test over which guitar is worth versus how good it feels. And that includes my all-time favorite, the captain from Andertons. You're playing is actually so mesmerizing that I just ignore some of... Forget it. I do hit the settings to slow you down so I can figure out your runs, as I really would even attempt that playing the blues music that I do, but as I try to mimic it I do get better. And while I would love to cheat and just ask for the tabs I'm going to stick with Mr Tim who says try to learn it buy ear like they did in a good old days and just slow it down.
No matter how expensive singlecoil pickups you have, the amount of noise stays the same, it comes down to the physics, and no amount of money will change that. Singlecoils are noisy, deal with it, who ever is reading this.
While true for Indonesian made, American brand guitars (I guess the average salary there on factories is less than 500 usd month), for American made guitars you pay for the brand and the American workers labor, so it would be naturally more expensive (still should cost much less though)
Totally agree. But it’s still within the price range for entry level guitars. I have had Epiphone’s cost $799 that were entry level (and played and sounded like crap).

My father is also 65 and started his battle with MCL this year. Prayers are with you and your family through this
best wishes to you Roger 🙏

Jet, Sire, & Schecter.....all killer value. 👍

These Jets are creating quite a storm, no denying.
Bought one of these. Absolutely love it!
Such amazing guitar playing
Am I alone in thinking this sounds amazing. It's got the pure platonic form of beater garage rock tone.
I replaced the bridge pickup and put in a Vegatrem and my Jet Strat is awesome. Happy taking it to gigs.
Thanks!

I have a Jet JT30 elite coming for xmas. I tried one in a local shop and was blown away how good it was
Sounds Fantastic, the guitar sounds Great as well . Your a great Ambassador for any Guitar 🎸.
Great guitar how does it standup against your Prs and K line models
YES!!!!!
😍👌
Love Love Love it!!
What's the weight? 😁
I have a JS300 + Tonerider pure vintage pickups; absolutely inspirational to play.

"That's a knife."
May I ask what you are using for the guitar sound/patch? Outstanding!
Hi! I have two Jet Guitars and I love them. Great guitars, great price

Looks way too similar to the Harley Benton Fusion line, which I absolutely love

I have one it’s superb JS400

I second this suggestion
Use it on a hot sweaty gig in December when you’ve been driving for an hour 😂

Sh*t man, nice playing around the 10min mark👌
Would love to see you demo the baritone or 7 string they have
please see if you can get a levinson sceptre arlington or ventana to demo, or the artist at53.
You have to try Harley Benton ST modern plus, it is only +300 pound.
I thought you were gonna play Cliffs of Dover with those opening chords
If you like these, you should try a soloking
they look nice too
did you play one of the soloking ?
Killer stuff indeed.
They need to come with stainless steel frets. They would be amazing.
Do you prefer this to a Sire S7?
Mate you could make an elastic band with 2 nails sound good...I've just come across your videos lately and I love your playing is just fantastic ❤

That knife has 'JHS' inscribed on it....

I work in bicycles. The trend in bikes is the diametrical opposite. What you now get for quite a lot of money is so, SO shite... it's obscene.
Please measure the e to e Bridge saddle span? What is the nut width? The frets look wide, are they JUMBO?
whats ur signalchain on this? My friend has jet himself and i doesnt nearly sounds as good. Thanks
Nice guitar
too many mind-blowing guitars... time for a change!
And this begs to ask the question - Are we being ripped off? My answer is most definitely. The price is in the brand names, and little else.
Careful, or you’ll have the keyboard warriors after you
@ 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤪

Test the Harley Benton st modern plus! 😃
Just read the “ full description” of this guitar. It was quite a bit less than full. A big pass on this one.
Wonderfully Straty tones, RG looks - I’m liking Jet. Got my eye on a single hummy Floyd R with a DTuna in the new year
I’m really impressed by Jet!
First
And I liked my own comment...and this one too
@@therangersinger 🤣
It’s like PrS and Suhr had a baby lol!
$500 is a lot of money for some people

Well, a search of their website has just proved very disappointing as there's not a single lefty. My interest in Jet has now gone!
If you’re in the uk GAK has a couple of lefty’s on their site
@@markstrange8522 I am and thanks! I'll have a look.
Just looked and there was one js 300(out of stock) listed. Thanks anyway!
