Went out on Tuesday for the first time as my son needed to scope out the trails for the enduro race on the 27th . Warmed up on tunnel of love , then hit the north trail after that was MTG and then Ladders . I may have not had the proper bike for sections of those trails being on a budget hardtail from 2018 . Quite sketchy . I hit some sections and walked others . Probably would have been more fun to have hit the trails that you did in the video but my son needed to see what he was up against . It would be nice if the trails were marked . Makes no sense to not put a stick in the ground and Identify the trail . Trailforks is a lifesaver to an extent if the trail is on the site . Was out there today checking out enduro runs 1 and 2 for the race this weekend and it was really windy to point of blowing up dust clouds. Not racing though, just went out there to ride and work on building up my endurance. That climb kills me every time LOL.
I honestly don't understand how they can rename it as a "Bike Park", but have no trail markers whatsoever, anywhere. Vail is cool, but its incredibly difficult to find the trails unless you ride with someone that knows the place, or you waste a bunch of time on Trailforks. Awesome job showing everyone the trails! Now i know where to go next time in I'm the area.
💯 agree man. Most riders work all week and get 1 day or 2 to ride. Going to a place where you may or may not find the trails risks losing that 1 day. Hope they put up signs soon.
Totally agree. Went with a group of first timers today and we had no idea where we were going. Wasted so much time on Trailforks and many trails have multiple names. Such a great trail system but terrible signage
Honestly they could do so much more with it. They need to offer a shuttle service, they already rent out carts. They should have one on standby for anyone who purchases passes for it. There are a lot of trails that could be built for a DH bike and bigger park style jump lines.. while still keeping the enduro and ridge trails for pedal and emtbs.. It would be nice to have some year around DH races... I think summit is the only place that has them currently.. BTW.... Mt. High is opening a bike park next year. I have the plans downloaded and they confirmed it with me via email. It looks really, really, good.

Hey man I need some help making my decision, I currently own an ibis hd5 with suspension upgrades "DVO fork and rear jade x coil" and COMPLETE X01 AXS BUILD KIT. I am thinking of selling that and getting the 2020 specialized enduro expert. what do you guys recommend and why????? Please help me
@@MILTONATOR I am getting a good deal for the expert edition and it is a 29er which I am hoping it will help on my climbs and would be a much rounded bike. I've been riding for about half a year barely and don't know what works best for me yet.
There are some noticeable improvements not shown on this particular video. My only gripe is branding the mtb trail network without proper signage. But I’m sure it’s coming
@@MILTONATOR it's definitely a fun place to ride and I've always paid to park there so it's cool they are actually trying to make it a real bike park quote unquote. I'm working on building my own bike park more to come on that in the future 👌🤙

Not very steep. The start has a a couple of short techy sections and then it’s all flow after that.
