TH-camへのカバー動画投稿が世界中の音楽ファンの間で話題を呼び、18歳の夏に渡米。日本とLAを制作拠点に約1年間を費やした本作は、サブスクとアナログのみでリリースし洋邦の枠を超え全国FM29局のパワープレイを獲得したデビュー曲「This is how I feel」「Memories」を始め、全世界のH&MでストアプレイされKan Sanoとの共演も好評を博した「Fly Away feat. Kan Sano」、アメリカ人プロデューサーAdam KapitとシンガーソングライターのKrysta YoungsとコライトしLAで録音及びミックスをした「20」や、LAの老舗スタジオEastWest Studiosで現地のミュージシャンと録音し「ラ・ラ・ランド」や「アリー/スター誕生」などハリウッド映画の音楽を手がけるIgloo Musicにてグラミー・ウィナー・エンジニアJustin Moshkevichがミックスした「More than enough」他、ボーナストラック3曲を加えた全12曲を収録。
マスタリング・エンジニアにはCharlie Puth、The Drums、Portugal. The Man、Alicia Keysを世に送り出している女性エンジニアMichelle Manciniを起用している。
DedachiKenta is a 20 years old singer songwriter currently living in Los Angeles, USA. He has been playing acoustic guitar and various instruments since he was a child, and he started streaming his video by himself on TH-cam when he was 14 years old. He gained many followers from all around the world, known for his clean and soothing voice. He made a debut as the first artist of new label of Office Augusta, “newborder recordings” in 2018. His music has been influenced by various genres such as R&B, Folk music, and gospel.
“This is how I feel” and “Memories” were released as digital singles on streaming services on November 21st, 2018. These songs were released as a 7inch vinyl on December 5th, 2018. 29 FM radio stations played these songs in heavy rotation in Japan. In 2019, he was selected as ‟Artists to Watch” on TH-cam. “breakfast for dinner” was released CD and only available at TOWER RECORDS on April 10th, 2019. He made 「more feat. DedachiKenta & FUNTYME」with AmPm and this song was released on May 22nd, 2019. His 1st album “Rocket Science” was released on October 30th, 2019. He made this album in Japan and LA for around a year.
