      We had a lot of talented people in the music industry and very varied .
      The country singer in the video was slim dusty he had over 100 albums in 60 plus years of touring Australia.
      Rock bands like
      Inxs , the angels, hunter's and collectors, cold chisel
      Female singers were probably even bigger in the 90s with Wendy Matthews, Tina arena, Viki and Linda bull were around earlier brilliant singers
      Solo artists like John farnham and Jimmy Barnes possibly two of the best technical singers ever. It's a huge rabbit hole to jump down.

    Cheers great video. There were many artists they didn't cover and yes many female singers not mentioned. Shown: Olivia Newton John was in Grease she was huge worldwide RIP, The Divinyls Chrissy Amphlett great singer to see play live RIP and Kylie. INXS many say the same but it's, in excess and they were once arguably the biggest rock/pop band in the world at a time.

    Hello Sujy and Max, that was a fantastic selection of 80’s music.
    It was a mix of about 80% Aussie and 20% Kiwi.
    Request doing reaction to Icehouse …..Electric Blue, Crazy, or any of their songs really !
    Go well 😊

    Whomever put this together has way too much of a liking for Jason Donovan cause I can tell you, as an Aussie teenager in the 80's, that most of his songs were obscure and weren't very big at all. In fact, everyone I knew though his songs were crap.

  • @sevcaczech5961
    @sevcaczech5961 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

    How surprised they are. 😂 The 80s made teenager Kylie famous all over the world. I Should Be So Lucky and The Loco-motion became massive hits during the 80s worldwide, as well as a duet with Jason Donovan Especially For You. Her popularity continued during the 90s and she was called the princess of pop alongside the queen of pop, Madonna. Later, this title flipped to Britney's side. But if we compare the number of world hits, their long-term reach over the decades, we can say that Kylie Minogue remains the "princess of pop".

    One group that gets overlooked in these reaction videos (imo) is Noiseworks, their catalog is great and John Stevens voice is phenomenal!, the song that has always been my favourite is RIP Millie, written about his mother dying from cancer, it is a brilliant song and worthwhile listening to th-cam.com/video/hPEVsB5PPJs/w-d-xo.htmlsi=1GJAGzyoLf6lkbfI

    The only reason Jason Donovan is on this list is because he is a well know actor from the TV series..neighbours. ..his songs and singing is very average...its also a low quality sound video .

    Jason Donovan made it 6 times ! Are they taking the piss? We love Kylie but most of her early songs were manufactured crap to . Ice house , INXS , ACDC , fair enough . I bet there were a few you knew but didnt know they were Aussie.

    • @sevcaczech5961
      @sevcaczech5961 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Although I like harder music, like Pink Floyd, I also grew up with catchy pop from all over the world. I have to say I don't mind Stock-Aitken-Watermann produced hits for Kylie, Jason etc at all. That was the time, simple pop hits like this were produced all over the world and it made people happy.

    • @MaxSujyPOL

      @@MaxSujyPOL I agree, i grew up listening to the charts on the radio and I can confirm that these are all hits that were in the top 10 all over the world.
