This one Taylor was totally leaning into her psycho dating reputation. This is one of my favs. LOL She has been with Travis Kelce for a year & was with Joe Alwyn for almost 7 years, but the media loves to give her crap anyway. LOL This is her screw you & I love it.
The media always paints her as a psycho who easily gets men, jet sets around the world with them but can’t get them to stay at which point she goes crazy. She said that made her upset the media was saying that, but realized the person they were painting was super interesting. So she decided to lean into the crap being put on her, and wrote Blank Space!
She did at least reach with her voice in this "video", but it just never took me into the stratosphere, or anywhere near it, at any point in time. Imagine where her career would be if she could actually sing? Pretty voice, pretty girl, very straight forward singer. Don't know how anyone could be impressed with this had they heard Whitney Houston first!
Shes always said that shes more of a songwriter first. Thats what everyone is always impressed with, that writes all her own songs. You cant say that about Whitney Houston.
