Both are good man. You can choose between these two college by the distance from your home. Find what is more convenient. Still if you are struck then you can choose DTU CS or NSUT IT as DTU CS is the top most branch in DTU and NSUT is already having a lot of branches related to CS like CSAI,CSDS etc

If anyone not interested in Placement then Chemical engineering and Biotechnology and CS/IT(it can also provide good amount of Placement) will give you a lot of free time compare to others Now if you really wanna persue ur dreams or ur passion then it'll be golden branch(opportunity) for you
@@kingsentertainment786 electrical is most hectic branch in which it's pretty difficult to take out free time, mechanical is comparatively lower hectic but if i rate electric, CS and Mechanical for hectic schedule then it'll be 6 to 7/10 for mechanical 9/10 for elect. 5 to 6/10 for cs And 3/10 for chemical or biotech

Bbhaiya what should i choose between dtu ee and bits goa/hyd eee....fees is not an issue for...the one thing drawing me towards bits is its great placements as there is just cse and then circuital branches so every company allows so avg is around 25-26 of sem 1 plaement....and for dtu being a delhite i have personal bias for its college life that it offers...please guide what should be the best option
Life at bits is also good buddy. If you are seeking opportunities then you can choose EE in bits as there are only 1 CSE branch you will get much more opportunities there.
If you want to get a tech placement then choose MAIT CSE straight. If you want to explore other domains like business analytics, analyst roles, consultant etc then DTU will provide you opportunities irrespective of the branch

Hey man if you want to work in a private sector then both are good options for you. See the difference here is the subjects. If you can study civil and manage your coding by your own. Then civil can provide you opportunities but there are less companies for tech that will allow a civil student on campus but there are tons of non tech companies like bain, bcg, pwc, etc you can still work in private sector but as a non tech person. See dtu will give you more opportunities irrespective of tech so if you want to explore then choose it. Else you can take mait cse and work hard to get the best placement in tech or apply offcampus. That’s the challenge there.
Bhaiya mujhe abhi second round mein DTU Mechanical Engineering mili h. Iske upar maine NSUT ki EE aur uske upar DTU EE rkhi h. Should I remove NSUT EE? Mujhe dr lag rha h ki kahi mujhe NSUT ki EE mil jaaye aur DTU EE na mile toh(acc. to prev year cutoffs I will get EE in both NSUT/DTU). Boht logo se suna hai ki NSUT is not good for core? Bhaiya I'm going to join dtu this year please tell me which branch will be better DTU mechanical vs DTU engineering physics. For me physics is okay subject but it's not like i want to research in it. Coding is completely different from these 2 branches you have mentioned. It’s upto you how much hours you want to put in. DTU Mech gives you a good tag? But DTU is one college right which is providing both of these branches and Both have same college. If someone is saying DTU mech is a good tag just because it’s a older branch and EP on the other hand is not known to everyone. But if you come down to tech opportunities then EP students are allowed to sit for most of tech companies where as Mech students have a bit less companies than EP. Rest mechanial have its own advantage as well. If you want to get a core mech job or govt job or any civil services preparation then it’s a good branch.

Choose DTU, because as you have mentioned you don’t have specific interest. DTU will provide you a lot of opportunities in terms of exposure and there are great non tech placement’s for you as well which you will not find in any other private college.
Yes there is always a possibility. If you work hard then you will definitely get good placement. Some of my friends got good placement from chemical engineering or biotechnology related branches. Will definitely bring them on my channel

Choose EP over Production, if you want tech placements. Non tech placements are open for all placement. You can sit in non tech by any of the branch. EP gives you more opportunities in tech side.

All the branches you have mentioned more or less having the same placement stats. You will get 2 to 3 chances out of every 10 tech companies. Choose ENE, it has less workload or mostly theory subjects as compared to other two branches. You will get more time for coding. Best of luck ☺️

It will provide you good opportunities to sit for tech placement. But you have deal with the electrical engg syllabus and score atleast a decent cgpa in order to sit for the placement.
Considering i can get EE in both DTU and NSUT what should I prefer, NSUT is walking distance from my home and DTU is 1.5 hour away. Just EE is new in NSUT, and I have interest in coding and have been doing it for a while now. Only that DTU has better scope fo Non-Tech placements.
DTU has better scope for non tech as well tech placement also.DTU EE is already a well established branch and provides plenty of opportunities in tech placements. As NSUT is at walking distance from your home, You can consider it too and if you will have good skills then you will definitely find opportunities there.
U shd go for nsut ee , time management is very very important bcause the time u will save can be used for studying coding, i too will be going for nsut ee bcause its closer to my home

Thanks for still replying to comments I'm confused between EP and EE in DTU I like studying physics (not this much that i want a career in it but I enjoy learning new concept and stuffs) I am also very interested in tech side of things like electronics and coding too. SO... 1) can i based of my coding skills get a nice placements? 2) Does EP lads get any internships? 3)How much less hectic will EP be as compared to EE? 4)Are there students getting placed with there electronics background? should i take EE because it has higher cutoff or maybe better opportunities than EP (bc shi spelling likh di pheli baar me opportunities ki) or EP because I am more interested in it .I don't have a particular goal set for now I'm hoping to figure that out in my first year of college
Hey, I’ll answer your questions one by one according to what you have mentioned about yourself. 1. Yes, you can get good placement with your coding skills. Gain as some much as exposure to programming and development. Do some good projects or participate in competitive coding or open source projects. Just figure a way out for yourself. 2. EP students do get internships but it’s rare cause there are less number of companies for internships as compared to placements. So chances are rare and most of the companies are biased towards CS students. One more thing that is a big reason is that very less or only few candidates have skills or have done something in their resume to beat CS students. So chances are very less or rare but yeah you do get chance to sit but converting an internship is difficult as compared to placements. 3. This is completely relative to the person. See every person is different. For example you love physics so it can be a case you find ep easy but for someone it’s difficult. Similar case with EE. But in general EE is a tougher branch than EP. So EP will be less hectic as compared to EE rest it’s upto you how you will manage your stuff. Even EE students crack good tech placements. 4. Students do get placed with their electronics background. Once you cracked coding rounds. Your background doesn’t matter much. Whatever you have done in your resume showcases your interest. You should take EE not because of it’s higher cutoff but it can provide you more opportunities in tech placements as well as in core placement. After all it’s a core branch. EE students are more preferable compared to EP and few more companies will allow EE students but not EP students. Hope you get all the answers. Best of luck

@@dhruv7655 bro i think if you want a chill college life and good placements then prefer DTU. NSIT is Strict in terms of attendance, you have to maintain 75% attendance evenin mid-sem exams, but it has slightly better placements than DTU

Pareshan mt ho bro teeno similar hi hai aur teeno ke placement almost same types hi h. Non tech m hi jyada opportunities hai production ya civil m se dekh lo. Civil ek core branch hai so apko govt wagairah ki prep kroge toh beneficial hai. EE is consider to be harder as compared to mechanical but you can manage. Lot of people manage and it’s completely dependent upon how i person manages his time. You should consider EE over mechanical because there wil be more companies that will allow you to sit for tech placement as compared to mechanical.
Sbka avg and highest badalta rehta h bro har saal aur saara data available ni h Iss saal ka COE ka average :- 15.3 lpa and highest on campus 64 lpa (domestic ), 1.2 cr (international )
It's about interest Buddy. If you are clear about pursuing CS then straight go for CS only. If you don't figure out what you want to do next then DTU will provide you exposure to choose and explore

It's depends on some factors both will provide similar kind of opportunities in tech but for better culture and other stuff, i would DTU EP over NSUT ICE as per the current scenario
There are placements opportunities in DTU for MSc don't know specifically about biotechnology but core placements in biotechnology is less. You can find companies hiring for other roles. You can apply for them

Not know exactly but in some companies they will not consider student having more than 1 year gap rest if you have reasons for the gap and you are highly skilled then I don't think there will be much problem

Software m jana h toh dekh skte ho MAIT CSE vrna DTU EP shi h. Dono k alag alag fayde and trade off hai. Ek jagah apko psnd ka syllabus h. Dusri jagah college culture and college life. Opportunities still apko jyada DTU m milega but still ap mait m top pr ho toh sayad apko vha bhi problem ni hogi

It’s completely depend upon what options you have. DTU still have a very good image. The number of seats for Computer science are a bit high. But still you will very good amount of opportunities in tech. You have to compete with all the fellows in the college.

Then civil can provide you opportunities but there are less companies for tech that will allow a civil student on campus but there are tons of non tech companies like bain, bcg, pwc, etc you can still work in private sector but as a non tech person. See dtu will give you more opportunities irrespective of tech so if you want to explore then choose it. Else you can take mait cse and work hard to get the best placement in tech or apply offcampus. That’s the challenge there.

Bhaiya I'm going to join dtu this year please tell me which branch will be better DTU mechanical vs DTU engineering physics. For me physics is okay subject but it's not like i want to research in it. Coding is completely different from these 2 branches you have mentioned. It’s upto you how much hours you want to put in. DTU Mech gives you a good tag? But DTU is one college right which is providing both of these branches and Both have same college. If someone is saying DTU mech is a good tag just because it’s a older branch and EP on the other hand is not known to everyone. But if you come down to tech opportunities then EP students are allowed to sit for most of tech companies where as Mech students have a bit less companies than EP. Rest mechanial have its own advantage as well. If you want to get a core mech job or govt job or any civil services preparation then it’s a good branch.

All the branches you have mentioned more or less having the same placement stats. You will get 2 to 3 chances out of every 10 tech companies. Choose ENE, it has less workload or mostly theory subjects as compared to other two branches. You will get more time for coding. Best of luck ☺️

Considering i can get EE in both DTU and NSUT what should I prefer, NSUT is walking distance from my home and DTU is 1.5 hour away. Just EE is new in NSUT, and I have interest in coding and have been doing it for a while now. Only that DTU has better scope fo Non-Tech placements.
DTU has better scope for non tech as well tech placement also.DTU EE is already a well established branch and provides plenty of opportunities in tech placements. As NSUT is at walking distance from your home, You can consider it too and if you will have good skills then you will definitely find opportunities there.

Hey, I’ll answer your questions one by one according to what you have mentioned about yourself.
1. Yes, you can get good placement with your coding skills. Gain as some much as exposure to programming and development. Do some good projects or participate in competitive coding or open source projects. Just figure a way out for yourself.
2. EP students do get internships but it’s rare cause there are less number of companies for internships as compared to placements. So chances are rare and most of the companies are biased towards CS students. One more thing that is a big reason is that very less or only few candidates have skills or have done something in their resume to beat CS students. So chances are very less or rare but yeah you do get chance to sit but converting an internship is difficult as compared to placements.
3. This is completely relative to the person. See every person is different. For example you love physics so it can be a case you find ep easy but for someone it’s difficult. Similar case with EE. But in general EE is a tougher branch than EP. So EP will be less hectic as compared to EE rest it’s upto you how you will manage your stuff. Even EE students crack good tech placements.
4. Students do get placed with their electronics background. Once you cracked coding rounds. Your background doesn’t matter much. Whatever you have done in your resume showcases your interest.
You should take EE not because of it’s higher cutoff but it can provide you more opportunities in tech placements as well as in core placement. After all it’s a core branch. EE students are more preferable compared to EP and few more companies will allow EE students but not EP students.

EE is consider to be harder as compared to mechanical but you can manage. Lot of people manage and it’s completely dependent upon how i person manages his time. Software m jana h toh dekh skte ho MAIT CSE vrna DTU EP shi h. Dono k alag alag fayde and trade off hai. Ek jagah apko psnd ka syllabus h. Dusri jagah college culture and college life. Opportunities still apko jyada DTU m milega but still ap mait m top pr ho toh sayad apko vha bhi problem ni hogi

BROTHER PLS REPLY I AM THINKING FOR JOINING DTU CS BUT I HAVE SEEN MANY COMMENTS ON QUORA AND YT SAYING DTU IS OVERCROWDED WITH RESERVED CANDIDATES. ITS VALUE IS DEGRADING.
It’s completely depend upon what options you have. DTU still have a very good image. The number of seats for Computer science are a bit high. But still you will very good amount of opportunities in tech. You have to compete with all the fellows in the college.

Bhaiya i have very much interest in tech but i am getting EP/chemical at dtu. plus i can get biotech at mnnit. and ECE in iiit pune/guwahati, but i dont want to go much away from my hometown lucknow. Max upto delhi,,,please tell that can EP/ chemical at dtu lead me to good tech placements if i work hard in tech side??what to prefer EP or chem? and any other suggestions for me please?
Go straight for EP, It has a lot of potential and also provide you fair opportunities in tech placement.
