Humility and humble are two different words...
Just like your younger, I'm older, get on the top bunk... both men were capable of getting up there... it was just easier for one to do it consistently
Time has given one wisdom to explain something and possibly patient.
Simply listening would have shown you that he said humility and not humble

@marquismcghee Yeah, being humble and having humility have the same meaning. You should look at a dictionary from time to time. The only thing you're right about is that they are two words.🤣

I was young , but now I’m more mature, and I was told, watch quiet people because they have already processed their actions. While the loud and noisy ones, are telling you their actions. I can truly say this was one of the wisest point of information someone had ever given me. I have seen many quiet people move with their actions instead of their words and it has been deadly.

If I may offer the explanation from my 36 years of life from the sticks to Iraq and Afghanistan. The reason we are quiet and respectful to as many as we can be. There has been enough violence, malice and pure hatred towards others that it’s understood that respect will go 1 million fold in the positive. Add humility a being a humble man, guarantee it will turn out as it’s hoped to turn out. Now yall stay safe now. Also if anyone can pass on a helpful bit. I can not for the life of me get my watermelon to keep. Nor my cilantro. I am getting good at growing other food. Just those two are problems.

I was 22 and on a 8 year bid.The Muslim brothas were so structured and aware it was intriguing to me. I studied the Koran, the Bible and people. I came home and never went back. I was released December of 2002. Life hasn't been easy but it's been purposeful and I thank my Muslim brothas for showing me humility and teaching me to respect the laws of life.

I befriended a man 2 years older than I who was from a small country in east Africa who had been wounded in war several times and had a hard life. Super nice, super friendly and he was a janitor here in the US. There were some younger Black American men where we worked that were giving him a hard time when he was collecting trash one day, and nearly took it too far as they almost learned more about him the hard way. They didn’t know this man was a killer and wasn’t even the slightest bit intimidated or afraid of them. They took his kindness for weakness not knowing he could take their lives from them and it would just be another Tuesday for him. Be careful whose buttons you push.

As soon as he saw that he was a old man... He should have insisted on sleeping on the top bunk 🙏🏽🙏🏽💯

Being a Muslim that spent 20 years behind the wall myself, it saddens me to hear that the Muslim community has a BROTHER that would've took a life behind a top bunk. If the BROTHER was unable to get on the top bunk, humility and fear of ALLAH would have told him to lay on the floor,IMAM or not.

Muhammad murdered someone because he felt insulted. Muhammad kept black slaves. The facts are there. You either ignore what doesn’t fit in, or you conclude what I and many others already concluded decades ago: without lies, Islam dies.

That's what I don't understand....can someone explain. Like why would the young man be dead if he slept on the bottom bunk. Who would have killed him and why? Was it definitely the older man who would have killed him or someone else?

Thank you! All this does is keeping the stereotype alive.

@@miltonhart499 huh? Stereotype? I don't understand the story. Is it being insinuated the Muslim man would have killed him and if so why? I know many people don't like Muslims and honestly I don't agree with their religion or culture in its entirety, but I do also think that there are many 'good' Muslims and even if there are questionable parts to their religion (like many religions), surely most Muslims intend to be good people or at least not be bad people.
