Hi Chip.I had the same "delay" experience last year 2023 November,when I went from Windhoek to Rundu (Namibia/Angola)border town,to go buy my E46 BMW 330i Mtech1 (U.K.Import/fully, fully spec'd).
All along the journey,(though it was very costly) I thought of you, during your journey to Nelspruit, to go buy the "Barn Find" -IS-.Just that scenario encouraged me alot to get through the pain staking journey.We (me and my 2 mechanic friends ),had to take out the auto transmission to put seals in and put it back again.This was both hardwork and tiring.All done,only to find that the previous owner wanted a "last drive" and he recklessly overreved it and put it into "limp mode".On and off switch of ignition didn't help and we had to wait for the next day,to get it coded.This didn't help either and I had no choice but to spend another R16,000 to bring it to Windhoek on a tow truck.That's the car game for you guys😂

why don't you cover your cars during transit, you not worried about stone chips, e.t.c ? I noticed Nkabi was also not covered during transportation
We personally have never had nor experienced any stone chips but in future we will most likely begin covering our cars that we do transport,
With this one specifically we are fully restoring it so a stone chip or 2 wont make much of a difference 😉💙
