I actually found a skip with Clayton klegg. When the floor drops stand and jump by the chairs, you will clip through the ground and collision will be completely bugged. Allowing you to bypass 90% of that underground part
That was a cool run. I know the driving parts suck, but you being able to do them at such silly speed was cool to see. This game is fun to see as a speedrun, because it has several nice aspects to it: gunplay, platforming, glitches and even the driving.
I like watching speedruns of games with progression systems that add more and more abilities like double-jump or the dash you start out with. Makes for hour+ playthrus worth watching all the way to the end, IMO.
i dont know how the overdrive system works but if you use it on the shotgun, and you ADS wont it it shoot an in powered slug round to maybe knock off a few seconds on the last part where you fight the colossus, then you dont need to run that far just to kill the uber at the other side?

Even still, from the wiki, "Id provides combat, story, and art support." and "id Software having (creative) oversight over a large part of the development." They're even listed as developers with Avalanche. No doubt Avalanche did most of the work, but even then, how much can we judge without being part of the development? I really feel like DraQu was petty in his responses to that one. I also feel that this is a trait that a lot of speedrunners and sometimes streamers have. Finally, why have a chat if you don't intend to interact with it? You're just setting yourself up for an interaction like he ended up having, and it made him look bad to the viewers.
I was able to 100% the game all missions/upgrades/sides/collections/vehicles under 18 hrs while taking my sweet ass time. The story is meh, the gameplay is great, The driving with every vehicle that isn't the pheonix, Xerxes, or Icarus is absolutely horrible. It's an ok game. Ps. (I rarely 100% games so that shows another little bit of info.)

With 'quality of life' update 2 in rage2, the popups are now skippable (they wont pause the game) and now you have option to skip the ark tutorials.
I knew you would cut it down to 1 hour and 40
if he'll cut it down by another 1 hour and 39 seconds I will be more than impressed, Scratch that I will be more than more impressed.
hopefully the new game plus mode makes the game more speedrun friendly. Like being able to skip the intro and id accession tutorials

Considering how little content and how lackluster the game is, it really isn't hard to do this in under 2 hours.
