As a truly happy possessor of a pair of these SOUNDPEATS GoFree 2 and a maniac of good fidelity in music reproduction, i can say myself extremely satisfied. Just a note for the android users: you can go in development mode on your phone (press 5 times the version of your installed OS in settings > system and you will can enable the development mode) no arm at all for the stability of the entire system BUT you will have access to the Bluetooth part especially where you can change the default band of transmission normally set at "Adaptive". The max is close to 990Kbit/s (!!) so, having 96KHz of audio band and 32 floating point bit/s in digital to analogue conversion you will appreciate the deepness of all details of the music you are earing. Many Big and important "brands" offer.... but only the brand and you pay that. 90% of these brands use the AAC codec that use 16 bit/s and 44.1- 48 KHz and 128Kbit/s as normal CD deliver. Ok CD are good but if you have the double of band pass up to 96KHz you will appreciate as the harmonics, with this extension, permit to mix with the audible and greatly expand your experience. Dave
Thanks for the interesting reviews. Have bought the majority of my headphones following recommendations from you and have always been satisfied. Have realized that the in-ear headphones do not work particularly well as they mostly create irritation in the ear. At the same time, since I live in northern Sweden and especially now in the winter when I'm out on a dog walk, I need something easy to carry on my head. As I said, in-ear creates irritation. Over ear like Sony WH or Airpods Max do not work well as the headband on these is pushed down when I use a jacket with a hood over them on cold winter days So right now this type of headphones feel perfect as they sit on top of the ear but without pressing against the head and you can also hear what's happening around you. Already ordered the Soundpets Run Free following your recommendation but have yet to receive them. It will be interesting to try them later and also follow this trend and see how the concept develops.
In the future, I plan to buy open earbuds. I dislike rubber tips in the ears. I went to Best Buy & I really like the Shokz openfit. Furthermore, I was amazed by the sound I heard, even though I couldn't feel the bass. I'm not a bass head. I remember, years ago, I bought the Tempo 30 from Back bay. Loved the sound, but the bass was too much for my ears. If I listen to bass, it would have to be using over the ear headphones. Great review.
thank you for the review keith!! it broight me to give them a try ...i wear them now for about 3 hours going through all the possible scenarios - music, movies, youtube etc., podcast and i am still surprised how good they are!! shure as you said don't expect the booooo bass out of an open earbud, but i think soundpeat did a very good job when it comes to bass. my favourite is the 'classic-music' eq-preset. it's sounds warm to me with a good amount of 'punsh' in the low-end! i paid 56€ in germany - definitely worth it! so again, thank you for the review! happy holidays to you and your family, stay healthy and carry on with that great work you did!! ✌🏻
I love that this style is taking off! I have the Truefree open ear , love them, and looking forward to upgrading to something a bit higher end n this might be it. One thing i want to know is how much each bud weigh? cant seem to find that info. Thanks for the review!
You need to do a comparison between the Soundpeats and the Tozo open buds. I’ve had about five different pairs of open earbuds. And the Tozzo are the best. I love those things.
I sent my ows pro's back 4 these bc I am very happy with the runfree's I have! They arrived today bc when I ordered them there was only 1 review online for these.
Wow !!! This style would be best for me!! I have wired ear buds for when not wanting to use bigger headphones but with these actually fits and fills 3 situation in one !!! And their sound range you described it appears no equalizer needed?? But most definitely would make things simpler for Me !!! 🤗 !!
Great review Gamesky! Their mics seems to be great. For the discounted price they do their job really well, although ldac for these buds seems a bit weird.
I liked shortness and big amount of info in this review. Thanks a lot for that!!! Could you please tell how do they works in mono mode. Like right only or left only in/on the ear, while other side in the case charging. Which side is dominant - for me it’s kinda important. Thanks!!!
Bass is rated at 40hz and above but in reality it sounds more low around 75hz and above . Any felt bass isn't there , even in ldac mode but any bass that is heard is accurate and clear . Overall they sound nice from low mids and up without treble being harsh .
I'm the opposite.... I actually like earbuds in my ear... and im not happy with the sound unless... im shut out from any other noise... but ironically my wife hates things in her ear... and this product is built for her.
Mine just arrived and I have 2 issues. Firstly, I can't see any charge indicator lights anywhere. Secondly, I installed and registered the software on my cellphone, but then realized I would prefer it on my tablet. I tried to log into the software on my tablet with exactly the same credentials as before and the login persistently fails. Now without the app I can't activate the dual connectivity. Hugely frustrating. Any advice would be appreciated.
I saw someone with the same light problem on a Amazon review, they said they told Soundpeats about it and they sent him a replacement unit. I probably affected the first run of units.
I have both and baseus is noticeably better. Specially the bass which the soundpeats lacks. But i use the soundpeats for voice based content. The lack of bass is actually an advantage when listening to recordings where the voice has a pronunciated low end. The voices with the soundpeats sound very natural and with a lot of clarity. And music sounds very good but not as rich as the baseus
Great review as always, Keith. :) I'm highly skeptical of these types of earbuds. The drivers are bigger to compete with outside noise. Fair enough, but if you're trying to compete with outside noise, why go with open earbuds in the first place? Similarly, LDAC seems like a gimmick here. If you're in an environment where you have to hear your surroundings, LDAC doesn't make a lot of sense (particularly when you consider the hit the battery takes). I would rather have a good transparency mode where I could hear my outside surroundings on a case-by-case basis. It just seems like if you're in a situation where you have to be aware of your surroundings, you either want the sound pumped in to your ears, or you want to not be wearing earbuds in the first place. The one advantage these might have is price. To get a pair of earbuds with LDAC, you'd normally pay more than $75, and the 30% that Amazon is knocking off makes the deal that much better. So I guess it's not so much these earbuds I have a problem with as the open ear concept in general. :)
I used to think these types of earbuds were a waste of money. Why bother when you can get a pair with a good Ambient mode. But this review has changed my mind. Soundpeats is on a roll i love the sound of the Air 4 Pro such nice tuning. Thanks Gamesky for everything you do and happy holidays to you and your family. 💯🔥🔥🇺🇸
Why would you use open-ear buds in the bus, in the first place? It's like using a spoon to eat your steak. Every style earbud has their place hold . I got multiple earbuds for multiple use..

This earbuds are perfect for sports and training. Especially road cycling
I only buy buds like this because my ear canals get irritated after wearing rubber tips in my canals after only an hr or 2.

My third buy based on your recommendations. Thanks!
Great review. I'm looking to get some open ear earbuds or headphones and these seem to work well.
Thank you for posting.

How do this compare to the soundcore open ear ones ?
Thats a good question
Been waiting for a good deal on some earphones of this style so I picked up a set. Thanks for the review
Getting curious about this style of wireless earbuds as the competition increases. Thx for sharing!!
Soundpeats is really killing it with these, especially at $45
Was $45 with discount code expired and Amazon sale? Now $65-20%=50
These or Soundcore aerofit?
Thanks for sharing. Blessings on your day!
Hi , do you or any viewers have thoughts on how these fit when wearing glasses?
Works great with glasses. Doesn't get uncomfortable to me at all while wearing them with mine
@@OfficialGamesky brilliant. Thanks
Compared to Baseus Eli Sport 1 which have better sound quality and loudness in your oppinion?
How does this compare to soundcore Aerofit?
Excellent review. Thank you do much.
Maybe there are big headphones wireless for that kind of price and features?
Are these superior to the Baseus Eli Sport 1? Or which would you recommend more for office use focusing on call quality 1st and sound quality 2nd.
How is the bass compare to anker soundcore aerofit pro?

Is this new Soundpeats have a reach of higher volume level DB FOR hearing impaired person?
I have the AirPods Pro 2 but also have the SoundPEATS Air4 Pro in which are great for the price. Gonna give the Gofree a try, thanks for the analysis!
How does the transparency mode compare between each
