    Dharma requires constant seeking while abrahamic is about following from doctrinal fixed direction

    The Dharmic worldview is indeed far superior to Abrahamism

    "Especially if you read the Old Testament or the Quran", about the lack of philosophy. That was a game changer for me. He put the words I never could. I always thought so, something is lacking, when reading those scriptures. Now it is clear and simple, thank you Acharyaji!

      most muslims do not know this because they can not even read their book. they just listen to their imams and attack to any ideology which is different than what they heard from Imams

    Check out the Yezidi people of North Iraq. They have survived at least 73 genocides, mainly by muslims, and their religion is almost identical to Sanatana Dharma. Their top priest, who has now passed, visited the Murugan Temple in America and celebrated with the devotees years ago as it is believe Tausi Melek and Murugan are one and the same.

    Wonderful thoughtful discussion. Really appreciated how you separated teachings of Jesus from Abrahamism.
    Well done! I am sharing this with all of my relevant contacts.

    Any other Roman Catholics enjoy these talks? :)
    My Celtic ancestors became Christians after the paganism in our Roman colony degenerated so fast. Celtic, Roman and Egyptian Gods were mixed and many adharmic practices became popular. Christianity brought God back in the center. We still celebrate many pagan traditions (more than in other German places) and I never saw them contrary to Christianity. Actually I was raised with the believe that pagan means someone, who removed God from the center of his life. But since I have read the Vedas I know its wrong. (Dharmic) Pagans believe in God, too.
    I like our Catholicism and we always valued Ancient paganism. And never really liked Missionaries.
    I still struggle with how to view my believe in context with Dharma. Its very important for me to practice Dharma.

    Did he ever serve as head priest at the Lakshmi Narayan Temple in Riverside, California?
    Our Pagan Student Group at UC Riverside visited there, around 1999 or 2000, and had a good talk with the priest, who had a PhD. And he looks familiar.

      No. Sri Acharyaji was never connected to any temple in California.

    A video on Nietszche would be great if you could espouse your views on him. Does the truth lie through affirmation of the will to live or through it's denial?

    Hello! I have benefitted greatly from the few talks I have heard so far on your channel. I hope to glean much more. I am an Eastern Orthodox Christian (and hesychastic practitioner) making a slow, gradual, and in some ways painful transition to Sanatana Dharma. My spiritual father and I have a theory and would like your perspective. Is it possible that Abrahamism was originally sown into the world as a kind of virus by the asuras (or an asura)?

    • @DissolveParliament
      @DissolveParliament 2 ปีที่แล้ว +14

      Aye, Yahweh is an asura or Daemon as Neoplatonists would say.

      According to a friend of mine:
      The Kalachakra Tantra called the Abrahamic prophets "asura Naga caste" considering they seem to share some kind of continuity with Zoroastrianism

    Wow this was truly enlightening. What book do you think I should read first to learn about your worldview and come to know the truth? Specifically as someone who comes from a Christian background? Never truly considered another faith until I heard this video.
    Thank you

      Thank you for your wonderful comment. You are very welcome to explore all the videos on our channel. The very best book that you can read to further your understanding of Dharma is called "Sanatana Dharma: The Eternal Natural Way". It's available here: dharmacentral.com/Sanatana-Dharma-Book.html

      @cilo902 4 ปีที่แล้ว +15

      DharmaNation I appreciate the reply! I actually ordered the book very shortly after making my comment.
      I love your video on Lord of the Rings and have listened to it a few times over the years. But this video made me feel like I got a glimpse at the truth. I have only felt that way with a few things, like the teachings and story of Jesus, Neoplatonism, the concept of logos, etc... Now I feel as though these are all compatible with and maybe even based on the Santana Dharma worldview. It has made me very eager to learn more.
      Thank you again.

      Greetings, Gavin. Sri Acharyaji is wearing a Mjölnir, or Thor's Hammer. It's one of the primary symbols of ancient, pre-Christian Norse spirituality.

      Namaste. Friendship is definitely important in the tradition of Sanatana Dharma. Friendship is known as mitra in the Sanskrit language, and is even personified as a demigod.

    Sanatan Dharma is not only Indian/Bharatiyas, it's the Dharma for Universel,
    Sanatan Dharma means The Universel Low for all leaving being.
    In Sanatan Dharma The ISHWAR 🕉️ is Almighty Supreme Godhead the Godhead of all God's/Bhagwan.
    The Sanatan Hindu Dharma followers follow their rollmode God/Goddes as they followed to take shalter/reached to the ISHWAR 🕉️ Almighty Supreme Godhead.
    Hari 🕉️🙏. Jai Satya SANATAN Dharma.
