Them arguing about the impossible burger was mega cringe, just one look at the ingredient list was enough to know to never put that highly processed crap in my body. Just eat a bean burger, their ingredients are simple, they've been around for decades, and they taste good, this is coming from someone who is definitely not a vegetarian.

The channel blightsteel logic is wild to me, it’s another colorless target to hit that density, and 2 mana blightsteel is better than 3 mana blightsteel
2 mana vs 3 mana isn't really the issue with the channel vs tinker comparison, it's that if you channel and don't get immediate value out of it before your opp has the chance to answer it, you're gonna be at such an incredibly low life total that it's very easy to lose the game. With tinker, if blightsteel gets answered you're just down an artifact so it's not really a blowout in the same way
the big difference is the power of tinker vs channel and how he doesn't like it in tinker decks. channel is a better card that is also wider then tinker so you don't settle for bad stuff. it also has different drawbacks.
The difference is significant. losing 11 life to play a non hasted creature that your opponent has 1 full turn to interact with is very different from sacrificing a mox or signet with tinker.
Your at nine. NINE. You go to 5 to cast emrakul, 10 to cast ulamog, 12 to cast kozileck...... I understand those get immediate value, but density is key to drafting a consistent cube deck.
@@dougisacat the difference is missive. they are also way way better when they attack. blight steel doesn't do anything on the turn you cast it the second turn it kills something with 2 toughness and the 3 turn it kills them. if they interact at any point it does nothing. you have 1 (or 0 in the case of emrakul) to beat the eldarzi and all of them do something even if answered.
