New information you should know about Removal Hearings in Immigration Court:
Make sure to review your notice to appear. Confirm it has a definite date and time for your scheduled hearing. If it does not, consult with a lawyer well in advance of your master calendar appearance.
Since the pandemic, many hearings have moved online. However, there has been a return to in-person hearings. Your notice to appear or notice of hearing will tell you the format of your hearing. Typically, in cases where an attorney appearance has not been filed, you must appear in person.
However, you can find information about the specific court, judge, and the rules regarding how you must appear in your case. Visit the Executive Office for Immigration Review website. You may also contact the immigration court where you are scheduled to appear to request this information.
If you retain a lawyer, there will be limited time to request to change an appearance from in person to online. Make sure you consult with a lawyer as soon as possible to discuss your options and the best time to file.

You are amazing. Your honesty and video are the best in explaining how a removal proceeding works. Keep up the good work. I listened to other lawyers and noticed that they are only interested in putting fear on a vulnerable individual. If anyone needs to pick a lawyer, I would recommend you.

Not about inmigration but how court deals with dates.
    Hello,
Courts have asked the people to drop appeals/etc in the box outside court so they can stamp the date
I in person have filed the appeal and they stamped it on Tues. and also I put a duplicate appeal in the box on Tues, same doc.. (I was nervous)
The issue: the clerk stamped the duplicate on Wed. which is the overdue date. Judge denied the appeal for the Wed appeal and ignore the appeal that I personally filed on Tues. I have my copy.
Courts are putting any date they want on docs from the box. What do u recommend to do? Thanks

Hi there, my dad was arrested on the 26th of November last year by ICE. My dad stayed at Pulaski detention center for 4 weeks and after that, he got deported back to Albania. My mom is currently being forced to leave sometime before June of this year but won’t get taken away. Since my dad got deported, I don’t know much about the trial he was given and if it was a fair trial, is there a way to appeal a immigrant who’s been deported back ? I am 16 and a US Citizen but they are taking my parents away and I’m a minor. My parents have stayed in America for almost 19 years and have started a strong successful business in flipping houses.

I have a question? If my case was not approved by IJ, and I appealed and DHS sustained my appeal. And the order said case is remanded to IJ to allow dhs to do back ground checks, what’s next? Thanks
