- This is a Chinese song for the reunification of China and return of Taiwan, released in 2021. It was sung by Meng Xudong and Pang Huichen, and included in the album of the same name. The song went viral on the Chinese internet.
The verse on Taiwan references the songs Grandma's Penghu Bay and Alishan Girl. The "two and a half pairs of footprints" refers to two pairs of footprints, plus a cane.

00:40 外婆澎湖湾 and 00:43 脚印两对半: From the lyrics of the song "Grandma's Penghu Bay" (外婆的澎湖湾) by Taiwanese singer Pan An-bang, which is famous in both Taiwan and Mainland.
01:29 天安门上太阳升: From the lyrics of "I love Beijing Tian'anmen"(我爱北京天安门), a child song written during the Cultural Revolution praising Mao Zedong.
01:48 红旗漫卷: Related to Mao Zedong's poem "Mount Liupan" (清平乐·六盘山): "Red flag rolls in the west wind (红旗漫卷西风)". This poem was written in 1935 during the Long March when the Red Army passed through Mount Liupan. It expresses Mao's ambition and belief on the victory of revolution.
映山红: A kind of flower whose binomial name is Rhododendron simsii. Its Chinese name literally means "the whole mountain is red". It is also the title of a song from a movie praising the revolutionary war called "Sparkling Red Star" (闪闪的红星)
