Excellent summary .... and I’m familiar over time with these approaches. A shame that these approaches haven’t been applied to the COVID19 response .... a total breakdown by the WHO and many countries in risk management! Accurate hazard identification, robust data, and robust modelling and risk matrix assessment tools are so key .... 👍

Have you seen that ever be applied in real life? Can anyone recommend resources where people don't cite academic books and show real-life cases when it comes to risk management in an organization?

Google a public traded companies 10k. It is issued for all shareeholders and investors and there is a section of risk. Each business handles their risk reporting differently however, so you might want to look at more than one to get a proper idea of how it's done

@@kayplays6425 in either dept or equity investing, companies have to conduct due dilligence of both investors and startups which includes money laundering prevention, bad actor checks, indentity fraud prevention, startup valuation vs expected capital that needed to be raised, deal size vs finding investors that can complete that funding round, etc. With public companies like Google, it might be different, but with pre-IPO companies it's clear.
The thing is, the generic context of the video is hardly applicable. Considering the fact that the majority of tasks and risks should have been prevented/completed yesterday, the questions under each section in the video appear to be slightly off.
