In-su and Seo-young meet in a hospital after their respective spouses are involved in a car accident. This leads them to discover that their spouses had been having an affair. As In-su and Seo-young stay at the same motel near the hospital to care for their comatose partners, they grow closer while sharing their grief, anger, and fear for their loved ones' recovery. Gradually, they find themselves falling in love with each other.

Her eyes are so expressive. Especially when she smiles. You could even block out her mouth and tell she is smiling just by looking at her eyes. She is easily one of the most beautiful women in the world.
Young Son Ye Jin is just ridiculously cute. I can see why she is one of the queen of romance drama.
I loved the drama, when it aired first in 2005. I still think, it is one of the best from South Korea, showing, how Korean’s deal with, when something goes wrong. Bae Yong-joon was one of the most famous actors at that time. He injured himself badly while filming the series Gods4, and his career ended. While he was dealing with his injury, he wrote a marvellous book about travelling in Korea, which was translated into English, and l was fortunate to buy it in Seoul. This movie “April Snow” was not very popular at the time, as it showed things Korean do not like to know about, it touches a raw nerve. Anyway, l love this movie, and Bea’s and YeJin’s performances, where one of the finest in my regard. Thank you.
there's more to that story. He didn't retire because of his injuries (he was in Dream High). He stopped working as an actor because the company he founded (KeyEast) became too big that he couldn't handle it if he half-ass it. Also, his restaurant business became really successful which made him one of the wealthiest celebrities in Korea.
He doesn't need to act for money anymore. So he decided to help more young actors and actresses in their careers.

I know everything about Bae’s career, as l liked this Korean actor very much since WINTER SONATA, which made him famous all over Asia, especially in Japan he was the most loved Korean actor for a long time. The history fantasy story THE LEGEND - 4 Gods, 2007, was also my favourite series for a long time, and during the filming he injured severely his neck, shoulder, leg, especially his shoulder needed surgery, and in the knee he got injections administered by himself. He could not walk for over a year, and appeared on stage, and in interviews with a leg in plaster, and clutches. During this time he wrote the marvellous Photo-essay book “A journey in Search of Korea’s Beauty”, which was published in 2009 in Hangul, and in 2010 into other languages like English, as it was such a hit. It also contains poems by him, which are rare gems. It is still one of the best books a Korean wrote about contemporary Art, and Lifestyle in Korea to me, and in 2011 l visited all the places, he described in the book, apart from Japan. He even produced Kimchi with staff in his house, and illustrated the process. It was a magic journey for me. And l admired, that he always was/is creative, whatever his condition. He did not really perform as an actor anymore after the LEGEND. He got seriously involved as director in KEY WEST after 2007. He recruited for example Kim Hyun-Joong, who was very famous at that time as actor and singer/dancer of SS501. All his performances after 2007 were guest roles. DREAM HIGH (2011) was his first production as creative producer, as he supervised the screenplay and production, appeared only as guest in ep. 1-4 briefly. He collaborated with JYPE till 2013, which later produced the K-Pop group BTS, who became the most successful all over the world. 2018 he retired from Key West and sold the company. To me he is an formidable, creative, humble, gentle artist, with lots of achievements, and l don’t care, how much money he made, makes, as he gave to the world excellent art works, is an ethical businessman, was Koreans Cultural Ambassador for a few years, got lots of Awards for excellence well deserved in my regard. Bae has been one of the most inspiring people for my own projects, and accomplishments.

Is one of my favorite, favorite actors.
He has that peaceful way about him when he acts that brings peace within a soul.
I have checked many times in Google from time to time to see how he is doing, it only shows about his dramas, marriage and children, but never about his injuries.

I really admire BYJ.He's got the talent and his proactive and creative moves for personal growth and for the welfare of colleages in the industry is very commendable. I like almost all his movies / dramas esp Winter Sonata .April Snow is worthwatching and worth thinking.The cool approach to cheaters and how love can come in the most unexpected ways for those cheated.I don't think they used each other for revenge till the end.Both were so much impacted by their separation.Mind bogging ending for some but it's simply right in the title..April Snow😉😉😉👌

If you want Son Ye-Jin films that are really sad then you should watch A Moment to Remember and Be With You. Both are sadder than this one because this one ended on a happy note because they ended up with each other in love.

I love this movie
Me too, but both Bea and Son have performed excellently in numerous serious interesting Korean movies, and series. In APRIL SNOW l really liked how they had to deal with the family of the victim, while they had their own issues with dealing of their once beloved partners. A very deep running movie, and convincing sensitive acting. Everything looked so natural, nothing was overdone. Young Son Ye Jin also played excellent in the thrillers BLOOD AND TIES, THE TRUTH BENEATH , and the taboo series SOMETHING IN THE RAIN. Thank you.

I'm just disappointed that the cheating pair did not take responsibility for the driver that died in the accident.
If you mean the spouses in comas well they couldn't because they were in a coma. But if you mean Son Ye-Jin and the male lead , they were taking responsibility by going to the funeral and also their lawyer was working on a settlement.
@@Lars1224 the couple in coma. I understand that there's them being not healthy during the investigation but I suppose it should be investigated when one of them woke up alive. I guess since the focus was not on the cheating couple but their spouses.
