Bro how will you enter Canada if you don’t have pr card. It is a requirement. You might have to apply for permanent resident travel document(PRTD) when coming back. COPR is not accepted. Other option is to enter through US by land border.

The heatrow rule change 2 months ago.. if your agent didnt know this then he shudnt be an agent. But u shud be able to cancel your return ticket. Thats why i never use any agents..

I just saw this video and I am concerned about my travel . My flight is from Toronto to India via London and stay is 4 hours. My ECopR is validated and My trv (which was applied at the time of work permit) is valid for 6 more months. Will they allow me to fly? I am planning to apply PRTD after I reach India.

Kal Mai bhi Halifax aya. I had connecting flight from New Delhi to London to Toronto to Halifax.Jab meri flight Delhi to London ayi, London se Toronto wali flight nikal chuki thi.
British Airways gave me 1 night stay in Renaissance hotel, London and they booked my direct flight from London to Halifax. Overall it's much better to come directly to Halifax.

It was the responsibility of Ticket Agent to brief the journey rules/information etc to the traveler
In your case he is fully responsible, so atleast, he have to return not full 50-75% money of your ticket

Yes you need temporary resident visa(trv) if you have work permit, otherwise you need pr card if you are permanent residence. It usually take 1.5 months for approval and put stamp on your passport. Please take advice of someone who visited to india before buying tickets and travelling

No I came through this route from Delhi - London - Calgary in the month of August they didn’t ask for Transit visa. But while booking make sure to check if it’s mentioned transit visa required or not . I verified with the agent first. Few things to check transit visa and self transfer as well before booking.

Mohit bhai has been denied boarding due to transit reasons. In this case, refund is not due. I feel so bad for Mohit bhai😔 but that is how it goes. The issue is with agent here. Also Mohit bhai decide to fly on a wrong time (Work Permit Expired and PR Card has not yet come). Agent didn’t give complete information. He must have asked you regarding your current status in Canada. Agent should be questioned 🤷🏻♂️

Same thing was about to happen to me... i booked a flight to Toronto via USA because the flight was cheap.... but after few hours we realized the mistake...and there is only 24 hours window for refund after you have booked your flight.... and God saved me in time. 🙏

Mohit, arey bhai yeh to Ticket agencies ka kaam hota hai batana , IATA waalo ka job hai yeh bhai , they have to make sure whether the flight is direct or VIA , they should know to rules of every route by tip of their fingers, I would suggest take up a discussion with them and try to atleast get the refund from them ...its not your fault buddy ....
