Lore wise Frost Nova is designated walking calamity level entity. A walking Calamity is the highest destructive potential a Terran can unleash without being a god. To put this into perspective if Frostnova wasn't suffering from advanced Oripathy and whose arts didn't burn through her lifeforce so much, she could probably destroy the entirety of Lungmen on her own.
She would be weaker then. Oripathy boosts arts to an insane level when the user is about to burn out and die. Frostnova was already extremely powerful. Her being near death due to her Oripathy pushed her at a level that could challenge Taluluh, but it was short lived.
@@richardshiflett5181 Not necessarily, because yes her arts might have been stronger but her physical body is much weaker. Those crystals grow into places like your lungs and organs causing an unbelievable level of pain. To concentrate on arts in that state even if they are more powerful is incredibly difficult and almost impossible, it doesn't help you release more power if there is no refinement to your abilities. Besides Talulah/Kaschey saw her as a threat long before her Oripathy reached its advanced stages. So its very likely that the pain she was under was too much for her at this stage of her life.
@@richardshiflett5181 Oripathy most of the time doesn't boast Arts ability in many cases it actually weakens it, the main feature for people with oripathy is that they don't need a catalyst like a wand, staff etc to use arts where as a uninfected does. A uninfected Frostnova or at least with the oripathy under control would've probably been a powerhouse few could compare to.
Apart of Amiya, as we know she is the true fiend. And that is the most fucked up thing, while pre amnesia doctah is some bizzare immortal immoral being, the characters we meet are even more fucked up. Skadi, Fearmunts, heck even Kal'Tsit is something no one in the universe has encountered (yes im skipping part of Amiya being lord of fiends)@@newhope33
