Saw this film as a kid and for some reason, I didn't enjoy it. Went back to see it as an adult... and what the hell was wrong with me? This movie is amazing. One of the best sci fi movies ever made -- weird, creepy, and spooky. Has a mystery to it. Great actors, great score, great ending. We need more movies like it.
Roger Ebert has this listed of one of the greatest films of all time. For good reason. It's amazing with that kind of praise that this movie is still relatively unknown to most people.
It's considered a cult masterpiece, the "Matrix before the Matrix", it's (belatedly) adored by critics (one of Roger Ebert's Greatest Movies of All Time, recently made Rotten Tomatoes' list of the 10 Thinking Sci-Fi Movies, alongside 2001 and Blade Runner), and most everyone who happened to see it (including me). It's quite a meditation on the nature of identity - and also a wicked, badass, beautiful neonoir adventure. It's got brains, looks, action, and Jennifer Connelly. You need more?

Yes I remember seeing the trailer for Brotherhood of the Wolf on tv. I wanted to see it so badly but the only cinema that showed it was AMC theaters and it only had one showing at 10 a.m. while I was in school. I rented it when it came out on video and loved every second of it. The director's cut is even better but most say it's too long and there's a lot of filler. I love it even more than the original release, everything flows so well together. This is def one of my fav movies!
I've always fell in love with the trailer music and how epic the movie looked and it was awesome! Saw it in theaters. Classic movies back and even better and unique versus today's weak selections
Originally saw this film when I was 13, thought it was ok, not sure I fully understood everything back then. Watched it again when I was 20, totally blew my mind away, awesome film! :D
LOVE this song! I worked at a movie theater around the time of this movie and I used to put the trailer for this on every movie we had 'cuz I liked this song (and subsequently the movie actually) so much. Its my 2nd favorite trailer ever (and it gets my vote for the best)
I remember a different version of this song in the original trailer though and I loved that trailer too but this one and trailers on TH-cam don't seem as good. Is it just my imagination or was the original song and trailer much better than this?
25 now, but used to listen to this when I was 12, never having watched the movie... Only ever saw the commericals for it... Loved the song enough to spend my minimum allowance to buy the CD just for this song... I also used to listen to Mortal kombat soundtrack and shit too.. Nostalgia Edit: 26 now Edit: 33 now

I was like holy fucking shit I HAVE TO SEE THIS MOVIE!!!! this track along with the the way they pieced together the trailer was AMAZING!!! I love this movie and own a copy.. I've watched this movie probably about 50 times. Never gets old.. Any time a friend comes over that hasn't seen the movie I watch it again. =P
It’s weird, I first heard this music and associate it with the TV special 100 Greatest Scary Moments in 2004 and it’s been evading me for years what song this was.
I for some reason remember this song from the preview of Dark City that was on the Mortal Kombat Annihilation Movie VHS. Never saw the movie, maybe since I am 28 now I should, almost 20 years later lol.
@minionarcane You are mistaken, I am not comparing Dark City to the Adjustment Bureau movie, though the similarities are still there. I was comparing it to the stand alone story which if you research, you will find was published in 1954. Now that aside, there are too many similarities between the story and Dark City to be ignored and I stand by my previous comments.
I was searching for the music that played in the opening of the “Ghosts of the Abyss” trailer* for YEARS. Tonight I finally decided to us Shazam to see if it could determine what it was, and HOLY SHIT I couldn’t believe my ears when 1:32 came on…that’s the same piece from the trailer! 🤯 *=the 2003 Titanic documentary, in case anyone was wondering.
@Nanoforge1 On the contrary, this movie came out much much earlier. Adjustment Bureau is just out now although the story was made many yrs ago. @Nanoforge1 Not confused on that, mang. I compared against the 3 things in my reply there already. The original story, DC and the current AB movie. True, there should not be deviations from the original story from the 50's if the movies were based on the original story but still.., movies can be made a bit different and better than the original story and that's what i meant.
