    16:30 Love that tune so much! It has become a firm ear worm amongst my closest family including my lovely boys. (Children) They even created some special 'custom' fun - lyrics to it 💕
    Loving your work Phil

    Thanks for posting. I enjoyed your walking videos but it's nice to see you back on the cut. Watching narrow boat vlogs it never ceases to amaze me when I see the huge numbers of Canada geese, swans and herons. Going back to my days in England we used to take narrow boat holidays in the late 70s. We saw a few herons but from memory we never saw geese and swans. It's beautiful to see them on the canals (even though they may be a bit of a nuisance sometimes).

      Thank you. The birds are quite localised. Lots of geese, not many swans around here. Other places will be different.

    Good Grief. It’s right you called those Canada Geese Yobs. What a racket.! Great to see you out cruising again but having said that we did enjoy your walks and cycle rides.

    The geese are so loud! Here, they are a nuisance because they tend to go: waddle, waddle, PLOP PLOP. Waddle Waddle PLOP PLOP.Lovely to see the boys too at the end. I've missed them.

    Some very nice canal scenery, history and information . A great vlog as usual . Bit of a giggle with the cyclist and the crossover bridge. And when you moored up at the end, the geese suddenly went quite and you walked into view with a hatchet, that was really a hammer. I thought, goose for tea. Thanks, and take care.

    When I ran a model shop in the 1990s, I often took trade stands at shows in the Macclesfield area and I loved staying at Bollington. You have done me proud in recent weeks, on land and on water. It's clearly still a lovely place. Smashing and a sign of normality returning.

      All three ducks landed in front of my boat. The third duck flew back towards me, and then went over the top of the bridge and re-joined his friends.

    The picture is very clear, felt I could reach in and touch the water. We have some lakes nearby so flocks of Canada geese are always flying over making a racket but I still love to hear them. Hope they were all okay after their disagreements. Lovely to see the cats. 👍🏻😊

    Lovely to see Bushka and Midge emerge at the end of your vlog Phil and did I detect a cheeky little smile on your face as you described the exploits of the cyclist versus twisty bridge? I thought so 😉. Great to hear your TH-cam subscribers are increasing. Perhaps the cats need to do a bit of the ‘if you like the vlog click and subscribe’ patter. We should never underestimate the power of cats! 🐱🐱

    Another of my running routes when I visit my daughter in Macclesfield. This one has the advantage over White Nancy in that it is flat. That crossover bridge 29 is very steep and usually very slippery, we hold on tightly when going down. I am not surprised the cyclist nearly came off. Is it just me tuned in to see the alien spaceship at 7.58? All the best.

    • @NarrowboatJourneys
      @NarrowboatJourneys  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Got them at ten or twelve weeks old. Kept them inside for three months, they were too young to go out anyway. Then short supervised outings which gradually got longer. They have Loc8tor tracker tags on their collars which despite the very limited range has found them many times.
