The shift on all machines moves all the fixture offsets by the shift amount. You kind of need to be careful when using this because it moves everything. So don't forget to zero it out after using it. It usually is used if you have a fixture with many offsets used. And they are already set in the control. You mount the fixture on the machine. But instead of setting all the offsets again you can just establish the location of the first and it's error, (Or a reference location) then shift all the offsets at once to line up with the fixture. This could be helpful if you are using the external offsets in the control that you have setup for a special fixture making many parts. But the fixture never changes. But you take it on and off the machine to do other jobs.

I saw that the Syntec control manual says that it doesn't support G10. Does the control have an equivalent?
My use case would be to have a pair of pallet systems that run independently as sub programs with a work shift. Then you can reset G54/G55/etc in the main program and shift within the sub program to your programmed Z height.
