Just purchased a 2022 Rogue Sport with 30,000 miles on it. I had a wreck (I am fine) that totaled my car and had to get something else. I am so glad I chose this as I absolutely love it.
I must say I watch a lot videos about cars. You are amazing. You say the honest truth about the car not too long not too short you get to the point fast was a pleasure watching your video.
I rented a Rogue Sport last week and was impressed with the brakes (solid). Also the performance really increased when utilizing the 8 speed manual shifting feature. I own a 1999 Honda Civic with a 5 speed manual transmission so I'm used to using the gears. I like this car!

Like many 4 cylinder engines, it feels lacking going on I-80 through the Sierras. It seems like the engine is working hard to maintain speed in mountainous areas.
Yeah, I haven't tested that yet, I might at some point if I end up going to Reno to visit my son. It definitely seems like My 2008 Acura RDX is/was better equipped with 240 HP 4 cylinder Turbo. My RDX had absolutely no issues at all driving through the Sierras multiple times it actually thrived on higher speeds through the mountains. Enterprise asked me if I wanted to purchase a car through them if my Acura gets totaled out by my insurance company, if they don't have an Acura, I'll probably decline. It seems like so many modern vehicles are very underpowered just to get better MPG. Upon my research, it seems like only luxury cars have better power to weight ratios. Which is a shame because that didn't use to be the case. I had a lower end Subaru Station Wagon(2001 Subaru Outback 2.5T) with somewhere around 200HP. The rental Nissan Rogue Sport S AWD I currently am driving if it really only has 140HP is clearly not going to be enough to maintain speeds through the Sierras but I'll know more once I test that. Like the reviewer said above, gearing is extremely important to make a car feel sportier. I wish the reviewer would have mentioned whether or not he was driving using the Sport drive mode or Eco. This matters a lot for the gearing of the vehicle and how it handles. Many modern cars change a lot of variables when in sport mode. I think 140 HP is really only suitable for much much smaller vehicles.
Was just given one of these for a work related car. Please give me back my 2012 Taurus. This Rogue Sport is pathetic. The simulated CVT shifts are a joke. The 0-60 is like 11.5 seconds. The gas mileage is only about 25 combined city / highway. the 2012 Taurus was 24 combined and had over 100hp more. The cargo space is abysmal as well. This appears to be Nissan's attempt to make a kids first car and IMO failed miserably. But free car and gas I guess I shouldn't complain but this car suckssssssss.
Funny how a "given" anything is never quiet enough. I paid for mine and tend to be more forgiving. I guess I am just the other side of the coin. Cross my fingers and hope it will last . I liked your presentation. You did great , no hate.

Is it quiet on highway compared with new Subaru Forester?
The newest version of the Forester is probably a bit quieter than this Rogue Sport Was
