I use the makartt glux gel it stayed on for weeks with no lifting. Loved it so much. And I also used the makartt solid glue gel (blk pot) to adhere gelX tips, they also worked amazing. Vettsy didn't work as well for me :(

I don’t know if I didn’t put enough on or something but I had cracks on the Makartt one right by my free edge. To me they are both pretty comparable though. I love the Makartt gel glue that comes in the tube. Works amazing for putting tips on.

I haven't tried the glux gel, but I swear by the Makartt solid glue gel! It makes it so easy to apply tips on straight without having to have three freakin hands lol

Such a simple, elegant set!! I think the trick with getting the tips to pop off easily is use a very thin layer of cuticle oil on the inside of the tip. It should release much easier that way.
I love these types of comparison videos! ❤ I have been debating on trying one of these products and now I’m definitely going to get some!

I found that if I don’t use a base coat with the more sticky solid gels they don’t wanna come off. Or if they do come off, the whole thing comes off, gel and form. I do all the prep work with the primer as well but the base coat is key with them.

I use the solid gel for molding shapes and roll it into bands for design application. Since it's raised, you can use chrome powder on it without affecting your gel manicure. I prefer a more liquid gel for nail application. I'm going to try using it to adhere a press-on over a dried gel manicure for temporary application. I often use acrylic powder to attach a press-on, but can't re-use the press-on with that method. Because solid gel doesn't air dry, I expect I'll be able to create adherence of press-ons for a few hours' wear and then pop them off, remove the solid gel and re-use the press-ons. I wouldn't try to remove solid gel that has been LED dried without using acetone. Like any other gel, it will ruin your nail bed. I think it will last longer than the clay that doesn't air harden. To be determined.

I’ve tried morovan poly gel and I could not get the stuff to stay in the form when I put a clip on it just all come off the middle of my nail bed and I could not cure it without a clip because it didn’t stick down I was literally crying 😭 with frustration I was thinking of getting this type of solid gel as it holds without clips but I’m really not sure now I’ve seen this lol 😆 😂 do you think solid gel is easier than poly gel I’m not a qualified tech I’m self taught but only use full cover tips so not sure what to do 😂❤ beautiful design hun absolutely stunning 🤩

I use full cover tips and Vettsy SBG, but I like shorties. Super shorties. I apply the SBG in the form, but leave a “blank” space/don’t fill the full area of the form. I hold the unproducted (unproducted? lol) and twist it side to side until it pops off. I tried the Born Pretty SBG but it was way too soft/stringy for me to press it into the nail tip, so it may go back to Amazon. I saw another YT video showing to use an alcohol dipped brush, but I think I’ll just stick with Vettsy. (I had a similar issue with BP not pressing on like your issue with Markartt not pressing on.)
