I think it takes a certain level of intelligence to really appreciate this guy. No joke. He really gets the balance between having fun and not taking yourself too seriously but taking what you do seriously, your craft. There is a big reason why lots of talent artists collaborate with him, because those people are smart enough to actually get at least part of what he's doing. There is a depth to his lyrics, it's just beyond a lot of people, smart people even. The majority of his fans don't see the lyrical depth I'm sure.

I don't think Riff is satire, I think he is serious. I also believe his tongue is firmly in his cheek though. He knows what he is doing it and knows how to go about it.
I thought he was serious too until I analysed the names of all his songs. He doesn't take himself seriously. He's literally writing 'fun' music. Stuff that's not supposed to be taken to heart.
Go listen to any of his freestyles, or interviews, or anything. You'll quickly realize I think the dude takes himself and his music somewhat seriously, as in he's proud of where he's gotten and he's said he's living his childhood dreams and being who he always wanted to be, but he's still just having fun.
