    I'm loving your videos man. At 51, I got into this sport rather late (2 years ago). It's the most fun, challenging, expensive and damned aggravating thing I have ever done. Keep the videos coming!

    Man thanks for helping me out at barbers. I didn’t realize with all the street riding I didn’t know how to really ride. Appreciate the time you took with me. And these videos are helping me improve.

    Shifts something so simple. That corner you kept forgetting that down shift and a better start would have put you on podium brother. Nice job man 🎉

    Good job, seems like you've made some improvements from the last race. Even with all those small mistakes you were able to reel in the guys ahead. Now, to avoid those small silly mistakes, but with time you'll be alright. It looks like you're slowly working your way up to the front though, that's something you should be proud of!

    • @Master_Yoshi
      @Master_Yoshi ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks man! Yes, much more pleased with this outing, but still hungry! The little stupid mistakes should improve overall pace and that's something that won't be too hard to correct, so I'm thinking more improvement is around the corner.

    Question about racing does it also push a person to be more physically fit. I just noticed racers are all so small do you have to watch your diet and exercise more often any advice my son is considering it

    • @Master_Yoshi
      @Master_Yoshi ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Short answer, yes!
      It kind of depends, because there are a few different levels of fitness I've observed at the track. Something to keep in mind is, weight practically equals less HP. I forget the exact equation, but the lighter you are the faster your bike can be, thus the more competitive you will be.
      The top level athletes in this sport are pretty small in stature. Google says the average weight for a MotoGP rider is 143lbs. Of course some people can stay near that weight with a lot less effort than others. I'm much more fit than the average American, but I haven't been under 190lbs since highschool lol.
      There is a certain level of fitness required to ride a motorcycle, in the heat, with 30lbs of gear on that doesn't breathe all that well. But to obtain that level you, don't necessarily have to be small in stature, you need endurance and good mobility so that the positions you're in while riding don't fatigue you.
      I will always recommend high levels of activity for anybody, but depending on how old your son is, and where he is at in life, that determines how strict a diet should be. There are so many things that go into riding a motorcycle fast that I think should be accomplished first, before really going drastic or extreme with dieting.
      Lastly, I believe Yamaha champ school has an online exercise program, great for improving fitness in areas needed for motorcycle riding. How old is your son?

      @@Master_Yoshi right on this is awesome advice he is 18 he is in good shape but we have always done mma not really Moto Gp stuff we brought to cheap 600cbrs for him to practice with his first track day is Saturday

    • @Master_Yoshi
      @Master_Yoshi ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Very nice! Yeah I was going to say the next step is to hit the track, see how he likes it. a lot of folks recommend starting on a smaller displacement bike like a 400 because they are much cheaper maintenance wise, and make you work on the important stuff, like entry and corner speed.

    • @motommajasonboss4521
      @motommajasonboss4521 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Master_Yoshi ok we can do that switch one of the 600 for a 400 I really appreciate the advice

    @AAron_Rides ปีที่แล้ว

    My man! What's your gearing and rear tire size?

    • @Master_Yoshi
      @Master_Yoshi ปีที่แล้ว +1

      15/44, so 2.93 I believe. And 180/60

    • @AAron_Rides
      @AAron_Rides ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Master_Yoshi I used a 3.35 ratio with a 190 rear, let’s me kiss the limiter in 3rd as I exit T2 and hold 3rd through the RH turn. No downshift necessary and I use 5th heading into Farmhouse. Maybes give that a shot? But you’ll need to add 1 chain link and use 2 masters to get the wheelbase right I think.

    • @AAron_Rides
      @AAron_Rides ปีที่แล้ว

      So don’t shoot for a 3.35 but look at something like 3.15 or 3.20 since you have a 180/60 rear
