So proud of Bernadeth Pons. As a Pons ult fan, I can really see how she worked extra hard for this conference. Malayo pa siya sa 100% old form niya, but medyo gamay na niya yung court this time. She’s not yet as fluid in her approach, and her reception is still far from her usual passing, but the form and consistency is still there. Wala pa rin yung mga off-the-block hits niya sa line pag off-sets and yung mga offspeed niyang sobrang heavy ng topspin. Wala pa rin yung digging niyang takeover mode. Pero overall, really good game for her. Yung serve din niya binalik niya yung jump serve from her rookie days. Sana mas tumalim at bumilis pa yung serve niya. Creamline strategy is smart move not using Alyssa Valdez and tots carlos too much on their first game because I bet the other teams & coaches are watching/ scouting the players and making strategy. Because creamline is the top club team to beat. Those two are already marked players specifically alyssa valdez ever since & they also have reserved ced & kyla later on. They have to go against 12 teams & to not exert too much energy they used they’re 2nd stringers. (only 2/6 starters are in the line up) Those two calibers were reserve for tough/ crucial games. If the bench can handle other teams why not let them shine & have more playing time, 🤷🏻♀️ since they can deliver.

They have to go against 12 teams & to not exert too much energy they used they’re 2nd stringers. (only 2/6 starters are in the line up) Those two calibers were reserve for tough/ crucial games. If the bench can handle other teams why not let them shine & have more playing time, 🤷🏻♀️ since they can deliver.
