Your shots would probably be more accurate if you would sit down. I find it hard to believe you’re even able to keep a group that small “squatting” to shoot.
I purchased a Savage 7mm-08 7 years ago. I hunt in Northern PA and have taken a buck in all but one of the years I have had the 7mm-08. My furthest shot was Nov 30, 2020 at 122 yards through light dried weeds. I put the round through the heart and the deer ran 10 feet and dropped. The round is plenty potent for N/A whitetails, shoots flat with little recoil. The short action allows quick reloading inside a shelter and it handles brush pretty well. I use the Remington Core-Lokt 140 grain ammo and sight in 2" high at 100 yards which allows you to hold at zero from 50 to 300 yards for a deer size target. My only complaint with the Savage is the trigger pull was too heavy for me. I had this adjusted by the dealer and it is fine now at 2 lbs.
What kinda rest is that? The upside down garbage can? I could shoot tighter groups at 100 yards freehand with open sights. Nothing against the caliber, it’s a fine deer cartridge, but your shooting rest and shot group are why deer often laugh at us.
Hey you did ok, try shooting off a good rest , sit down and get comfortable, get some good targets ,don't lift head off gun , keep after it and you will improve!
13 moa ! Not to shabby! 👍🏻
Savage is begging you to take down this video. 😄
Let’s see an update to how’s its grouping now?

Love 7mm-08.
But crappie shooting. 👎👎👎
Dont support Patagonia clothing etc either they put money towards anti hunting 👎
Can you provide proof?
@@vdtoutdoors951 look into it trust me
Another quick tip . Take up golf 🏌️♀️
Gun wasnt sighted just shooting to shoot

Video should be titled “How not to sight in a rifle”. ANY RIFLE.
Your shooting structure is terrible. If my rifle grouped like that at 100 yards it wouldnt be my rifle anymore.
🤣😂
Les Kelly took the words right from me. I could shoot tighter than that with open sights. Maybe the upside down garbage can rest is to blame.
Some kind of a joke? 😅

I think I could group 5 arrows off my compound inside that group at that range
The bolt is very stiff and my gun miss fires with Hornadays
One of the best rifle rests I have ever seen...........wish I had thouht of that set up.......hahahahaha

By no means would i make an adjustment to that shooting.
Agreed
Work better if u quit pulling your head up after u shoot
I feel bad for the deer you shoot at.
I bet you do
Haha I just got an antelope permit today. Went to the range and sighted it in. Awesome gun
What was this supposed to be about, poor marksmanship, form , steady rest. Nothing here is inspiring.
It's my first video I put out pre zeroing in my scope
Lol is this a joke? Lol
No! Minute of pie plate on a good day
🤣
