this is the first video ive watched that i actually understood the "shiny side " concept and the only video i could actually sit through lol thank you very much now i can make envelopes for my kids allowances.
The blade on the paper cutter works best when you push down on it first before pulling it forward on the paper to begin cutting. Nice tutorial!

I need to read. My goal for 2021 is to switch to a cash envelop system because I'm finding that I overspend when i use credit cards. I've been using zip lock bags for my different cash envelopes. Don't judge me lol I'm in Chicago!!

Great video!! How do you keep it from sliding off the other paper? Mine keep sliding off when I’m about to put it in the laminator ugh
Mine also slipped a little lol but since it has a clear backing you can't really tell. I do try to hold it very steady and have my laminator really close to me . It's all about trial and error .

Question..If I want double-sided and not clear back do I just double size and fold in half?
If you wanted it completely clear when you cut the lamination pouch , pull the two pieces apart and make sure the shiny sides on both are touching and line it. Run it through the laminator in a laminating pouch . If that doesn’t make sense , Jamie’s Budget has a good video on clear cash envelopes !
Edit: I just re-read the question . If you don’t want clear at all you would measure 7x6 and fold the paper in half!

So 7x3 is the perfect size? I think i did 6 1/2 by 3 and i had to cut it again i prolly did something wrong lol
Well everyone is different. For my wallet 7x3 is great and the lamination adds a half inch on the bottom making it 7 x 3 1/2. The money slides in perfectly with a little wiggle room.
