I love love love Tonks and Couch Slughorn! I liked the story of last year’s calendar, but I also love the mini scenes in this one. It’s really cool to have most of the story represented.
At first I thought the OotP one was the courtroom, but after reading what others said, the Room of Requirement and practice dummy makes much more sense! Such a smart group in this community!

To me the little figure with the blue spheres on it looks like the hall of prophesy at the ministry of magic… when harry and the other go to get the prophesy

LEGO’s aren’t my thing but I do like how they made this calendar more interactive by including the game. The seams simple but fun and like it could go on for hours. My favorite build was the Goblet of Fire with Harry Potters name coming out of it.

I liked this one. I've seen this at Costco along with Star Wars and Marvel Lego advent calendars. Lego has done an amazing job with the creativity aspect. SO fun!

The Knight bus & Hogwarts express are really sweet builds. Love Dumbledors penceive and The Room of Memories. I love Legos use of the colored transparent blocks, in their vehicles. Gringottes Bank and Ukrainian Ironbelly....so simple, yet so elegant! Sadly, we are coming near to the end of your week of HP Advent Calendars. Watching you open them has been great fun, and has been putting me into the spirit of Christmas. Thank you. Keep up the fin. 🙂🍷🍺 I loved your Moaning Myrtle impression!
I always download the instructions from the LEGO site, so I don’t have to break down the image. Especially last and this years advent calendar were perfectly designed and wouldn’t want to destroy it. Last year I opened the box from the side, so I could slide out the box with the bags.
You know, this just occurred to me today. But for these advent calendars, you might want to take a large (several MB) photo of the "Scene" (the one with all the boxes) BEFORE you start opening the boxes, so that when you do have to put the "scene" together, you have an original scene to use as a backdrop, rather than one that has 24 holes in it!! Just an idea.
Fun! Like that they made it as a game. Some statues we hard to guess, but others are so well thought out. Great vid. Loved your quotes and reinactments!

Peter, I honestly think you'd love Lego. I know you're a car guy, so you should try out one the Technic vehicles, like the 911 RSR, or one of the Lamborghinis.
The Tonks and Professor Slughorn are awesome! I love the idea but im not sure i love it as the whole calender with the mini scenes. I think i liked previous ones better. Love tour excitement as well!

I think this one is perfectly for MOCs with the great minifig selection and prints. I may end up buying two to get more of the minifigs cheaper than bricklink.

And I think the archway is the prophecy shelves.

My nephew is a huge Lego collector. He collects the planes and does have some HP Legos. The harder to build the better for him. Lol.

you just close the doors on the boxes after you open them and the scene is still there
