[Auto+ v0.7] Aspire 2017 - Versatile Mallard

Auto+ is my complete rewrite of osu!'s Auto algorithm. Its goal is to make optimal completions of maps with concurrent objects (also called 2B maps).

Whats actually stopping the auto+ from hitting those short reverse arrow sliders perfectly? it only gets 50(in the beggining) and misses them near the middle of the song.

I can't tell you the exact cause off the top of my head but slider handling in osu! is really, really weird and hacky. Also I think I saw the ones in the middle being hit by someone and so the algorithm has a bug on those ones.

Its cuz auto hits the slider the exact second it should be hit so no offset, but since the slider has a length of 0 (or way too close to 0), the game assumed Auto missed a ton of reverses so gave him a 50 according to the game's logic. If Auto+ hit it early, it has the weird effect in real game when you *hit a slider early and the ball breaks a bit, and because of the way that works it also gives a 50, because the length is 0. If Auto+ hit notes like 5ms early no matter what, then it would get a 50 because the second reason, and if it hit late it would get a 50 because the second reason, the two cases overlap.

what did actually change in 0.7? i only have got version 0.6 and I dont see something that changed

So far I only fixed one pretty minor thing about instant sliders.

Yeah, in 2016 a code leak happened.
