Just looking and listening to Bruce lee, you just know when he ready he aint playing dont let the laughter fool you etheir, I could listen to the man all day!!!
I have this DVD myself, but it is the strongest and best interview I can really hear where I can see Bruce Lee's philosophy, and I am happy that I feel the charm of Bruce Lee.
So British: the interviewer was wildly sarcastic (in subtle witty fashion)! Being Chinese, Lee didn't have the slightest idea he was being made fun of for sounding inflated! The Chinese don't understand that kind of humor. They just don't do that to each other.
Yes, self-expression in via martial arts might have been normal in the times of western films, but nowadays, as Bruce Lee also poitned out could be out of place, but still a good way of turning us into say men ofaction, in a good sense of course. MMany thanks and God bless you all. Paul, 67
He would consider that an insult you have to understand the person and what he wanted for his family and watch Vans interview He Truly understood him !
And? He's been gone a long time. This interview was one of the ones that was found long after all his others so that's what it was called when it was found you caveman 😆
I don't believe him when he says he would break his hand and foot trying to break multiple boards. If that non-acting republican Chuck Norris can break boards and Bruce is so-much badder, Bruce has to be able to do it. Maybe he was just trying to avoid being challenged..
I have broken 5 boards at once, but probably not the way Bruce was referring to. If he had spacers between the boards he could do it easily, without spacers they become exponentially harder to break. I doubt he used spacers, he probably would have thought that was cheating. The other thing is that, today you can still go to the lumber yard and have them cut boards for you, but the boards you get from a martial arts supply store have been slowly baked to remove as much moisture as possible, making them much more brittle, to the point that I have seen demonstrations where the instructor knocked on the board to show how strong it was and it easily broke. I don’t think Bruce would have approved of baking his boards.
I love his closing sentiment. Under the sky; we're all one family. That's beautiful. I wish more people thought that way today.
felt
Under the heaven(sky) we have but one family.

GREATEST FIGHTER OF THE WORLD 👌❤️🌹
What a great interview. Mr Lee was not only an exceptional martial artist but also superb at explaining his philosophy of life.

At one point the interviewer actually says Lee is "full of it"! Lee doesn't realize he is being made fun of by the Brit!

The interviewer wasn’t too kind and welcoming bc he kept cutting Bruce off.
Dude, this interview has been available for decades ... What cave have you dwelling in all these years?
And? He's been gone a long time. This interview was one of the ones that was found long after all his others so that's what it was called when it was found you caveman 😆

Not really lost anymore.

Being playful
He was asked if he could break 5 or 6 boards like in a movie. He merely told the truth which is no. With a laugh like dude it was a movie.
“Boards don’t hit back.”
Lol it was obviously a joke
