Thanks a lot! Unfortunately it feels like now instead of being 10 wins from mythic I'm 14 wins from mythic and due to other obligations it would be almost impossible to get there. So if I get back to idea of "mythic run", it will ne no earlier than November. On the other side, thanks to the last two episodes at least viewers can see more realistic side of playing Arena, where losing is also a part of the game. I think Omniscience Quick Draft just inflated my rank to much, so I had no chance to gradually adapt playing quick Drafts against platinum and then diamond players, so I'm still at "Gold 1" level trying to beat mythic and diamond players with my drafts, which is just not going to happen.
@@Cascaderrothat’s a good point. I guess as an opportunity for everyone to get to high ranks, (and maybe to prevent smurfing) you don’t lose rank when you lose a game. I’ve only started a week ago and now I’m in silver because a lot of opponents will concede before the game begins. I suspect that doesn’t happen so often in higher ranks though.
@@Stromboliosis There are two rankings used for matchmaking on Arena - one is the rank that yuo can see: Silver, Gold, Platinum + level + bars on each. Second one is hidden, that is mostly in use for matchmaking on Mythic level. But even if you are playing on lower rank, it is still taken into consideration, so experienced players are matched more often against each other, same for new players. In general, I recommend to climb up to Platinum in Limited and then wait for monthly rank reset. I only have Diamond rank because of this Omniscience Quick Draft that for some reason went very well for me.
Don’t be discouraged Casc! I’ve learned a lot from you and enjoy watching you play, win or lose
