2PM is the group that coined the title "Beast Idols", which means they are very athletic, muscular and toned -- they had/have a much more masculine image then the typical boy group when they debuted. (They debuted in 2008, so this year is the group's 15th anniversary.) In their early days they were also known for their B-boy skills and for their tricking. A lot of their early songs have choreography where they were doing a lot of tricks and tumbling, which was something new in the world of Kpop, and it made them unique. However, over the years they kind of stopped doing all the tricking in their choreography because they realized that they have to be able to perform these dances on music shows and live in concert, etc. and that meant they had to put a lot of extra training in to make sure they could execute the moves well. They are THE beast idols. You guys haven’t reacted to 2am but 2pm and 2am make up ONEDAY!! Their fandom is named Hottest since it’s the Hottest time of the day. The first guy on the video is actually the member that wrote the song his name is Wooyoung ( pronounced Oo young ). They have an extensive discography which is amazing and some good Japanese hits as well like I’m your man. They used to do a lot of acrobatics and shirt ripping hence why they were known as the beast idols. They have a lot of actors in their group as well. JYP did a dramas called Dream High which featured a lot of his artists and some of them kept acting after that.
Second the petition for y'all to check out 2PMs My House. No one was doing grown concepts like them. A lot of them are also actors btw so they're pretty known faces in general. Also speaking of kpop hags i would love for y'all to check out TVXQ as well, i feel like y'all would vibe. Would rec Something and Chance of Love, but Mirotic is definitely their most well known song (ie everyone and their mom knows it level).
