Looks and sounds great, but I think the Roli Seaboard is a better option for me because with that you can use both your hands to manipulate the sounds.
I think you mean straining instead of restraining. Restraining means to be prevented from doing something, not to cause discomfort or stress or straining. Device looks cool. You'd probably like the Roli MPE stuff if you like this.

Maybe you could add/ make a desk extension as an arm rest. Probably makes it less intense and tiring for the shoulder, arm and wrist.
