I love the innovation and creativity of the cars in that time of Indy. I’m a big Foyt fan but I also have tremendous respect for what Parnelli and Andy Granatelli tried to do that year.
I was just a kid when the turbine were running, but I loved them. It was so different to hear them "whoosh" by compared to the standard engines. Andy Granatelli was a genius, and I'm so glad that he finally did get his win in 1969.
